I purchased this product 2 months back. Flipkart is nice delivery with quick and care... Now its time to write review on my experience... Good : 1) It has good reception when compared to other radios ( i already used other radios and compared with it) 2) It is receiving low strength signal from long distances also. I am in Mumbai. This radio is receiving signals from chennai, kadapa, hyderabad , raj kot and from many places, which are my favourite stations. So, AM signals like Medium Wave (MW) and Short Wave (SW) are very nice reception and crystal clear clarity. 3) FM reception is no need to tell as FM channels have low noice transmission.. 4) It has TV channel reception also, it receives dd national usually around 190 MHz. 5)It has good quality and long telescopic antenna 6) Made with good quality plastic.. bad: 1) it does not have any power card or build in transformer. So one need to either purchase batteries or adapter for it. 2) it does not have earphone jocket . This is best product in radios..

details off the product box: Code: RL384/40; Wattage: 425mW RMS, 4.5V DC; mrp: 805. so the flipkart price at 515 is good. next off, the box itself has the punchline: 'sabse badhiya signal', and although there's no mention on it of ALC or fine tuning as provided in the flipkart description, the tuning bandwidth is good -- good space between each FM channel & much better reception than our existing Philips radio. I got this for my Mom, as we don't get good radio reception at our place -- and we run our existing Philips radio on AC -- which apparently adds some distortion. This unit ships without batteries -- need 3 R20's which you can get just under 50 bucks. The DC adapter as another reviewer pointed out might be hard to get -- and distort reception besides. Been 10 days of moderate usage and the battery is holding good. The telescopic antenna is monstrously long when stretched out to full length. The volume control knob, at the lower end does not allow for very fine control, just a touch will jump between barely audible to fairly loud. Overall great unit -- you get the reception and the tuning you need. would've rated 5 if they'd supplied the DC Adaptor to go.
