I expect that game, CAD and multimedia developers are going to be looking to leverage this. As of this writing, this is the fastest consumer chip that supports it. + Good performance relative to current offerings: Stock i7-4770 chips do well on benchmark and real world tests. As of this writing (July 10,2013), cpubenchmark.net reports an average CPU Mark of 10,126. That is higher than any stock chip under 580USD, even beating the 4770k at stock speeds. Cons: - Surprisingly high retail price at introduction for what it is, I paid 310USD with an Intel box price of 312USD - expect prices to drop as initial fervor dies down and the Haswell line matures. - Potentially superseded quickly by the i7-4771 (same capabilities with higher speed, possibly driven by improvements in binning with process maturity). - Surprisingly disappointing performance improvement over previous generations (particularly memory operations). - Extremely limited overclocking.

This baby is one of the best I have got till now. I already can see the difference in loading times of games. Working perfectly fine along with Corsair H100i cooler which keeps CPU between 34 & 38 ??C under idle condition and 48-50 at max on full load considering right now summer season is going on so these are perfect temperatures imo. Edition MB: Asus Rampage 4 Extreme Black Edition RAM: G.Skill 16 GB 2133 MHz PSU: Seasonic 850 Watt Gold Cabinet: Cooler Master Cosmos 2 If you are into gaming, Video editing or Animation business/Job then this is the perfect CPU as compared to 4960X which is extremely expensive and performs nearly same as 4930K if you overclock it. If you just need to play games then you should consider buying Haswell CPU e.g 4770K as this will save some bucks for you. But again if you are not low on budget then this just does the job for you...Thanks to FK as usual got this within 2 days.

The way future gaming is heading .... and other rendering , editing stuffs ... I know there iz more.. but I do only these three things ... lol ... so keeping these things in mind I opted for this Proccy .... and it was my 2nd upgrade I used to have i7 2600k before ... but I had 2nd thought as IVYBRIDGE E ain't good overclocker .. in compared to sandy .. but things went well for me :D ... atleast it iz a good overclocker in compared to any haswell cpu out there ... there iz no comparison between any equivalent AMD procy and this beast ... here are some pros : and cons : Pros : (1) Generate less heat in compared to HASWELL . (2)overclocks well in compared to any Haswell cpu ... mainly i7 4700k. (3) Being native hex core cpu ... it is lighting fast . (4) Not highly priced in compared to i7 4960x which performs same ... . (5) It is future proof .... Cons : Have not found yet .. but it does require expensive x79 chipset mobo .... ;) So... if you could afford give it a try .. it won't disappoint you I bet :)

The processor is a beast and handles high end graphical coding as well as movie editing smoothly . I have not faced a single issue since 6 months, Heating is also normal but better to keep ur PC in an Air-Conditioned Room for better performance and clocking is a gem on this chip. It is definitely a GO to those who do a lot of Gaming & Video Processing. The only Downside is that it is very over priced in Flipkart. U can buy this product in Local Stores for Rs 38000
