Very good look and average sound quality

I was looking to buy this model for a while. I was impressed by its look and I thought there is no need of home theater if I buy this tv as it has powerful speakers(500 or 1600 W). I have checked this model directly in two showrooms at Chennai. In both places, I was surprised to hear from the salesmen that this model good only in look wise but the sound quality is average. He has demoed another model which has in-build speaker which had better sound quality.
This model, though it has very high treble, I did not see the clarity in sound.
So, if we look for sound volume alone, this model would be fine. If we are looking for clarity in sound, should look for other models.
Another point they said was it is not having actual IPS display.
If panasonic can do something for giving good clarity of sound, it will be nice to buy in future.
It is good to check the model once at showroom before buying it with huge price ranges.

Led with the best picture and sound

One of the best led tvs you can buy but at a reasonable price. Picture is superb just like Sony in the same resolution (not price) range and sound quality you can't compare any lcd/led tv with it . It is that good. It has the sound of the old tvs with a good built in stereo speaker system but in a compact size. You don't need a home theater system for this tv unlike other lcd/led tvs.
Note there are two models 40SV70D and 40SV7D which look very identical. This model is 40SV70D which is the model with the subwoofer and it is not displayed or sold in most stores. What you will find in most stores is 40SV7D which is the model without subwoofer but sales men will try to convince you both are the same. The sound of 7D is not so great. It is like any other led tv but sound clarity is superb but no depth to the sound because of lack of subwoofer which is typical of an led tv.

I purchased the above TV through Flipkart. I am fully satisfied with this product. It gives me good performance both video and audio. The audio is very good. I do not need any home theater set when I use this TV since the audio quality is very good. It is an excellent product.

Everything from the order to the delivery and installation was perfect and hassle free. The product per se is also good with amazing audio output. You wouldn't feel the need to use your home theater system with this TV. with 100W+40W rms output what more can you ask for. SO FAR SO GOOD!!
It's an okay type product but, not comparable with Sony or Samsung products.

Sound quality is good but, not excellent!Picture Quality is really poor. If you have already used Sony or Samsung products then, you'll not like it. View from side angle is just too bad, only the front view is acceptable.Wall Mount Bracket will never be supplied with this product, you'll have to buy it yourself.Packaging and delivery was excellent!
not other USB drives like external hard disk

Viewed for last one and half years. Picture and sound are ok. USB port is responding with only Pendrive, not other USB drives like external hard disk, external dvd writer-player etc.
