Before we begin with the product review let us be clear that it is not a replacement to a regular iron. But then why should you buy one ? Because : 1) You cannot iron all your clothes (mainly the expensive ones like saris with zari and embroidery work, suits, some western, jackets etc.) at home, but you can steam them using this steamer without any risk of spoiling them. 2) You cannot deodorize your used clothes by ironing them, but you can with the help of a steamer. 3) You usually cannot iron your used shirts, tops etc out of fear that if there is some dirt on them it may stick to the clothes rather permanently, but use this steamer without any such worry. It will remove all the wrinkles and the clothes would again look fresh. 4) You cannot iron you woolen/ acrylic clothes or if you do they wont come out very well ironed, but you can get very very good results using this steamer. 6) Repeated ironing can fade the color of your clothes or if he temperature is not set properly it can even burn them, but no such worries while using this steamer. 7) You can use it to sanitize you clothes, soft toys, pillows, curtains etc, after all it generates steam. Alas, iron wont help here. Cons of using a steamer : 1) Will require some storage space as evident from the product pic 2) Will get rid of wrinkles from Cotton and linen shirts but would require some effort and linen clothes may not come as clean as from a regular iron. 3) It would have been good if a ceramic/wooden plate was provide which could be used to support the clothes from the opposite side while using the steam head on the clothes. It would certainly save some time and effort. 3) A bit time taking. Notice it next time that all showrooms and boutiques and good hotels use a steamer instead of an iron to make sure there clothes always look fresh and new. The quality of the product i.e, the build and finishing is good. Added convenience is it has wheels so can be moved easily inside your house. The steam flow is continuous and not in bursts and starts generating steam very quickly, i reckon in about 40 seconds or so. Don't use it carelessly as you may get burnt by steam. The product really put a smile on my face when I was able to successfully use it for my jeans and a cotton shirt which I didnt wanted to iron as I had already wore it once before. All in all a Value for money product.

Bought it from a different etailer about 2 months back. Outstanding product. Considered Philips, Russel & Hobs, Maharaja. etc but finally bought from oster and I dont regret my decision. Does the job perfectly. A friend got a Philips one. Not only is it costlier but also spews water now and then from the steam head. No such problems here. Quality and build is good. Generates steam quickly and continuously and not in bursts. My wife loves it and am already planning to buy another one for my in laws.

after so many research i finally picked up this product and totally satisfied with it. first of all it does iron the linen clothes and the steam is so continues that it doesn't stops for a sec. it doesn't spills a single drop of water on clothes. bang on guys this is it..my first ever review on flipkart..
