Good Product but Bad Service by Flipkart

Bought this product from Flipkart. Got a good price and as usual Flipkart delivered it before the delivery date. As per the product information was told would have a free Installation & Demo from LG. But when I called up Flipkart to inquire was told to contact LG directly.
When I called LG I was informed that there would be a charge of 500rs as I had purchased the product from Flipkart and it would have been free if I had purchased from store.
No frills fridge. Are LG 310 ltrs under powered? Shame LG for no support

1. Installation done for free by Jeeves in chennai (FK partner), LG does not provide service or support, in their website they say service is from dealer. Now question arise do they cover warranty? one will never know untill one claims for it
2. The installation guy checked for the basic things to see if the fridge works and obviously he does not know about the model as he is seeing it for the first time too. The fridge did not cool at all when they plug it in and wait for 10 min, so he was wondering too and asked me to watch for an hour and inform . But it got cooled after an hour and in the manual it says it takes 4 hours for the fridge to stabilize the cooling.
3. Pictures shown here is what you get. LG site said for this model it has LED light in freezer but it does not
4. This model is probably a bit outdated or lower end of 310 ltr - it does not have the keep 'cool during power cut' or convertible box in refrigerator compartment or deoderizer. These are minor convenience or does not matter much. I bought in a 10% hdfc promo discount so was ok.
5. Fridge is silent and spacious and good on electricity - the important points for me. I would have gone for samsung equivalent but the same was not available for my location. this has a 10 yr warranty and it hangs very thin on what LG will honour, eh!
6. Fridge is big - very tall and FK logistics struggled while delivering it to my home, two persons trying to grab through stairs with driver helping & almost dropping twice & me pitching in ( it got shipped from bangalore to chennai, hope that was handled smoothly), so that s a risk to consider as well, they don't do it everyday I guess. Don't know if delivery from a local dealer would also had similar precarious moments
7) As per manual you have to keep freezer at 1 ( low) to get refrigeration Max setting ( also recommended setting in summer). Is it a case of big car with small engine ? I don't know if other brands also provide similar instructions for 310 ltrs. Also it say 4 to 8 hrs to stabilize for first time or after a long swith off, 8 to 12 hrs for model with' keep cool during power cut'

The product on marginal discount is actually a 8 month old stock! Also, LG charges extra for installation or demo of it's products sold online. The seller was not sure of the tech specs too. I had to check from LG n tell him that the product has 4 shelves, not three. So don't buy big appliance online. I have learned my lesson.
