Fast Enough, but a little costly.

Used it with GTX 670 and FX 8350.
Working like a charm.
Good Pair Of Corsair RAMs
By Noneon
This is one of the better products of Corsair. Built for a maxed out PC. Can handle most games. This will be good buy along with a performance graphics card. My system is running extremely well since I installed 16GB of this product. No slowing down. No problem with games. No software malfunction either.
Passed memtest @1333C9 and (xmp) 1866C10

This was available for much less a while ago, but then I was waiting for the vengeance pro kits. That one is nowhere to be seen yet. So I didn't wanna wait for anymore price bumps and got this one in a kind of hurry, because I had to test the CPU and motherboard as well. Anyway, I took out the psu (Seasonic S12II 520) and GPU from the old pc and fitted on the Asus Maximus VI Hero with Intel 4670K and this RAM kit. Everything worked as expected, and I was able to run memtest from a usb drive. The kit passed memtest completely without a single error at the default 1333 MHz C9 and then I went to the uefi and enabled the xmp and rebooted to re-run the memtest. Worked like a charm. But I have to mention the fact that the cpu was at 49 - 56C even without any overclock, right in the uefi. It was just the stock cooler though, but even so, at 25C ambient and ~1.1v vcore, without oc and any stress whatsoever, 56C is too much. May have to delid ... even with proper cooling.
Anyway, you should know that higher frequency in RAM makes absolutely no difference in gaming. And right now even 8GB isn't fully utilized. However, video/photo editors should benefit from higher bandwidth, but NOT a lot. There are costlier kits available, but if you are just a gamer, do NOT waste your money there. Get a decent graphics card - THAT will make a difference. Get the GTX 780 if you can.
1333 MHz Specified Not 1866 MHz Only For OC Upto 1866 ... !!!
By Lalatendu Swainon
Who wants to buy 1866 MHz its not for them. Its only OC upto 1866 MHz.I buy this RAM ,but no performance improve in Windows Experience Index. Its Windows Exp index is 7.8 ,when my Old Corsair 1600Mhz Ram also 7.8.
Its Simply a Confusion of 1866MHz.
corsair vengeance are one of the best.

so, this is a 1866 Mhz tested ram.
That means its default speed will be 1333 Mhz. You can overclock it to 1866 and the ram will do fine, because it has been tested at those speeds and has done well.
You can even push it furthur to 2000 Mhz if your system is rock solid. I love this ram and I got it for an amazing prize. No complains.
And I love the red heatsinks. :)
No need of Words

The internet is full of praise for this product.
I got this for my powerhouse I assembled for Media works. And the RAM works just fine. It is still new for me to actually give a review, but I have good faith from the way it has started off like a rocket!
