I ordered this Case on my birthday, 21-12-2012 and received it within 3 days, excellent delivery from Flipkart, Thanks a lot. Now about the product, I got it for 4000rs., saved 800rs. I don't know whether I call if being lucky of something else. The packaging was from Cooler master stock cardboard, just the flipkart delivery label on it and from the importer and the manufacturer slips wrapped on it. The case is a huge one compared to my previous local Intex Adonis, I like a lot of things about it :- 1. Steel build with good material, the case covers make you fell what it is actually. Grainy finish, so better use soft paint brush for cleaning. 2. Plenty of air intake with two intake fans in front of the case and one on the side panel. Can install 2x120mm in front like me, One comes with the case and another one is optional. One outlet fan on the back with the case itself, you only need to buy one 120mm fan for the side panel and one 200mm fan for the top outlet. I have installed one deepcool 120mm on the front and one 120mm on the top. Will upgrade to 200mm top fan soon. It is winter, so no need to worry about the temps. 3. Cable management is just awesome with this case. Be careful, don't even think of using a local psu with it, your 4 pin connector to the mobo will never reach there as I regret it, I'm using a local one but managed to do it somehow with Indian JUGAAD. So overall, full money value. Also in the end the final words from my side is that get a good branded psu with any sized mobo, any sized Graphics card, any water cooling kit and any cpu cooler, its a hell of a cabinet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this product primarily to maintain my cpu temperature and yes it has done a great job. My cpu specs are: AMD FX 8120 ASUS M5A99X EVO CHIPSET GTX 550TI 4GB RAM 800W PSU Before i had a basic cpu case, which drove my cpu temp upto 67 deg Celsius. After migrating to this cooler master cabinet, whatever i do in my system my system temp is consistent @ 37-43 deg Celsius. I usually Use my system for High-end gaming ,so this cabinet is highly recommendable for gaming cabinets for those who are tight on budget. the only disadvantage of this product is its top and rear open for airflow openings are too big aand dust can enter easily(regular cleaning is necessary). If they would have provided with a microfiber mesh it will be the best cabinet.

It has all the necessary upgrade features that you’ll need to build a gaming PC and for any future expansions/upgradation. I haven’t really gone through the entire manual yet, but it seems to come with a lot of stuff required to fit several components inside the cabinet. You can add four more fans to the cabinet if decide to go with serious overclocking. It has provision to support liquid cooling with radiator support. Cons: The vents for the extra fan mounting options on the top and at the side have large holes and no air filters. So there is a very good chance of your cabinet getting filled up with dust or even spider webs! So it is advisable to buy some air filter to cover up the vents. Air filter is provided for the front fan of the cabinet and bottom (PSU placement). Besides these flaws, the product is simply a charm. My verdict: Go for it! You definitely won’t regret it. Best cabinet in its class for a great price. Note: Buy the HAF 912 side transparent window cabinet only if you have decided to put some Christmas lights inside your cabinet to make it look pretty and to show it off to the neighbour’s kids. Other than that, it’s really not worth the extra money. You can actually see the optical drive bracket through that window (which is not impressive) and it doesn’t justify the cost you pay for it. Go through the pictures of both the cabinets and make your decision."

The HAF series from Cooler Master has been the best when it comes to air flow, but expensive. And this changes with the HAF 912 Combat, which makes all the features of HAf available at an affordable price point!! Pros: 1. Excellent airflow for a below 5k cabby. 2. Excellent build quality and black coated interiors. 3. Removable HDD cage and separate SSD cage which is removable too! 4. Supports all long graphics cards including ATI HD7990! 5. Two 120mm fans upfront and one 120mm at the back. With option to install 200mm. 6. USB 3.0 port capable of charging mobile phones and tablets Cons: 1. Military styling not to everyones liking. Conclusion: If you looking for an high airflow chassis below 5k, this is the chassis you should go for. period.

One thing that I learned from my past 4 computer is that you don’t need to overclock for most games. When the time comes for overclocking your processor is almost antic. And new oses are out and they don’t support your motherboard and processor. For gamers Intel processors are as hard as rock. They never die even in 10 years irrespective of the kind of abuse ( my p4 stayed 24x7 online for 4 years and still my fav which i bought in 2002 mid). If you made them die then you got talent. So invest most for processor and snatch the best non-extreme series processor only if you want a system which you only want to upgrade till the next 7 years and complete a full 10 years. My p4 2.6ghz HT still performs better than my core2duo 1.9 ghz processor. Amd are pathetic with avg life of processor of 5 years. So if you are planning a system with avg. life span of 3-4 years amd is the best for that or else go for the cheapest latest generation intel processor which will easily handle for 5 years in terms of performance. Motherboards have avg. life of 5 years no matter which motherboard you are using. And buying a new motherboard for the old processor at the end of 5 years will cost you 3500 bucks approx. The same goes for graphics card. You don’t need water cooling unless you are overclocking every few hours for hours. remember when u buy a new processor, you need new motherboard + new ram and sometimes new hard disk. According to me its better to upgrade than to buy a new. So, invest more on cabinet and smps because that way you can safeguard your motherboard, lancard, usb ports, harddisk, graphic card. Cabinets can be reused for your next set up hence future proof but don’t invest so much that you later cannot think for a new cabinet because you already invested a lot on cabinet. That said I think this cabinet is awesome, good structure and built and good airflow. Can easily outdo 10 years. You can put next generation graphic cards so that way its future proof to upgrades too.
