Got a good router after doing a lot of research!

If you want a router for medium sized Flat/home/Club use then you can go for it.
After using 7 days My reviews about this router are -
1) Range is average and enough for 3 BHK Apartment.After two walls it loses 1 signal.
2) This dual band router has speed up to 750 MBPS.
3)It has one USB port so you can connect Dongle(During absence of LAN) & Printer.
4)Easy to set up and has 3 years of warranty.
5)The router looks slightly different in pictures( Original router has no white color on its top part.Only blue checked squares)
6)The product was well packed and delivered before its date of arrival so a good service from The seller & Flipkart.
7)It does not have any heating issue( I tested it with 20 Hrs )
At this range the router has maximum efficiency than any other routers.I recommended this router to my friends.I am extremely happy with it.

This router looses connection often. I have to reconnect the internet manually and sometimes reboot the router when it goes mad. the range is good but a little disappointed with its inconsistency.

Hi,
I would not recommend this router to anyone. Mine did not work right from the moment I unpacked it. The Internet (WAN) port does not recognize live RJ-45 cable inserted at all. I had to borrow my friends WRT54G router to make sure that the router hardware was kaput and not my Internet line.
Very much disappointed with this sub-standard Chinese make device. Wasted my time and energy to decide on this router all in vain.
I have raised return request with Flipkart now. Hoping that the return process is not cumbersome now.
Hope this review discourages anyone planning to but this router. Go for reputed company like D-Link or Linksys or even Belkin so that you don't end up wasting your time and energy.
Monster in a small package

I generally don't take the time to write detailed reviews given the fact that most products are just about good. However, i make an exception here. I had a Airtel 4G connection for a few months before moving to ACT fibernet. I had a ZTE 4G router which came along with the connection and i continued using the same with ACT broadband and had been struggling with slow speeds and bad range for almost 3 years. This got really worse of late and i was contemplating on changing the service provider however decided to try changing the router as a last ditch effort. Wifi Analyzer told me that my ISP provides 5 GHz frequency but my ZTE router didn't support it and since i live in an apartment, there was horrible overcrowding with 2.4 Ghz channels (1-11) from other routers in the apartment. There was no way to figure out a best channel as most of the other routers were on auto mode and used most used to switch to the least used channel and pretty soon that channel was overcrowded. However, there were no routers using the 5 GHz frequency and the channel range is huge, 100s of channels you can choose from compared to 11 in 2.4 GHz. I bought this router and to my surprise, i am getting amazing speed. This is a monster in a small package i must say. I hardly used to get 5 mbps in best case with my old router and now i get around 85 mbps of download speed. I just realized that i was under utilizing my ISP plan because of my old routers limitation. Dual band really helps to avoid overcrowding and give you more juice. I agree that the range is not that great and after 15 ft through walls, the signal strength drops to half but you can buy a repeater and work things out. I would say for the price point, its an economical solution to all your wifi problems. I can't say how this router performs in a large multi storied homes but is good enough for a 1000-1500 sqft area.
Cool looks, decent coverage, but the piece received had WiFi signal drop issues.

I received a V1. Looks beautiful. Coverage decent. However the piece I received had issues and the WiFi signal would keep dropping intermittently. Even the TP-Link 'Tether" app would intermittently find the router and at times say 'No router found'. And even when the app found the app, while you are using the app, the router would suddenly disappear from the app. I returned the router and got a refund.
Good wifi range, have advanced features but it does have some issues

I have used D-link router before this with Hathway and on shifting to Excitel, I was given a Tenda N300 router. Unfortunately, I could not use Chromecast with Tenda and I had to purchase a new router. Given the low price of this router, I betted on it as it was a dual band router. 5.0 Ghz is better frequency to stream full hd content over multiple devices over limited range, and 2.5 Ghz is must as not all devices support 5.0 Ghz. I ordered this product through Amazon Now store and got it within 2 hours, amazing! Now my review based on over 15 days of use:1. You can create 2 wifi network over 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz with separate names and password. However, they both are interconnected and Chromecast support is available in both bands even if your Chromecast is connected on 5.0 Ghz. This is awesome!2. You can also create a guest network where you can even limit speed and data. I did not require this feature, but the features are available in router dashboard.3. The router has very good range. The 3 antenna gives it enough thrust to give full signal in my entire home. I have a 3 BHK house and the router is placed at a cornerside. It works just fine.4. Installation is pretty simple and you have to just insert the LAN cable. It also has several LAN output, which can be used in case your device is not wifi compatible. I also got a short LAN cable free with this device.5. The only con with this device, which is very critical is that the wifi in all my device disconnects suddenly and ahows cannot connect though the network is shown as available. I have to restart the router again and sometimes twife restart to get it work. I guess it is some software issue with the router. This is the reason I gave it 4 star.6. Speedwise it works at 100% data. I have 50 Mbps plan, and with this router I get 49 Mbps downloading as well as uploading speed over both 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz. Ofcourse it also depends on your ISP. But with my previous connection with Hathway, TP-Link N100 router could maximum give me 24 Mbps with 50 Mbps connection and I almost always used LAN cable whenever I wanted full speed.Conclusion: This is good choice for home use if you want to stream heavy contents over multiple device. Beware that not all devices support 5.0 Ghz WAN. I just wish that the company fix the disconnection issue soon.

Good Product works as Advertised. It's balzing fast and the Feature to connect HDD via USB let's us make it as a MediaSerever and a NAS Share. You can play the media over network using VLC like a charm. The router advertises two SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G. However 2.4G works superb and on certain devices 5G works well, and for longer distanced devices.
Excellent Dual Band Router and the only one in this price point.

Excellent Dual Band router at this price.It has the following unique features1. Dual Band networks. You can switch on 2 SSIDs. One on 2.4 GHz band and the other on 5 GHz band. Perfect for people who are in a network congested area and want to free themselves from the cross talk of other 2.4 GHz wifi access points.2. USB Port for Network attached Drive Storage. I've connected a 1TB drive to it and I access all my files via SMB from my Mac (because mac has only 128GB internal storage).3. Good reliability. I've never switched off this router in the last 3 months intentionally. It only switches off if there's a power cut.4. The two antennas are good for decent range. Although range was never my requirement as I sit 2 feet away from my router.My network connection is 75MBps and I get all that speed on the 5GHz band. I only get around 40 to 50 MBps on the 2.4 GHz band because of cross talk and network congestion (which is expected). Both my phones and my Laptop have 5GHz band wifi receivers so it works fine for me.Cons:There are no cons. This is the best router with Dual Band router with USB port at this price. Sad that TPLink is no longer selling it anymore. I couldn't find it on amazon again.
