First of all, flipkart's service is outstanding. I got this switch in just 4 days. I have been using this switch for almost a year now. I basically use this switch for lan gaming and its performance is outstanding. There is no lag or any problem whatsoever even after long hours of gaming. Moreover, it fits in the budget comfortably.

Excellent Switch

An excellent Network Switch for its price, with 8 ports. I run it 24 hours and have been using it from 1 month, and even now, it did not get hot. So no heating problems. No network disconnections so far.
We are using it to share the college hostel LAN for 2 computers. The LAN speed is not at all affected. And considering it is almost 200 Rs lesser than the 8 port D-Link model, this is a great buy indeed.
And as usual, great packaging and delivery by Flipkart.

Received the item in time. It is a small piece which takes very little space. No option of hanging it with screws is available. If you want to mount it on wall, you have to use a stand or double sided tape. Though the lightweight makes it possible to hang it with LAN cables only, but that may not be a solution as it will not properly oriented / aligned. For many, this may not be a factor, but if you aesthetics matter to you, you will love the looks, but miss the absence of provision to hang this item.
Technically, it is a nice device for a 10/100 Network. All ports have only 4 pins each. Typically the 10/100 Device.

I had used this switch in my hostel in series with another switch (a DLink). Both are really good, however, this one costed us 300 INR less. It is a fairly good product, though not as good a build quality as DLink, it works all the same. Also, the ports are not as tight as DLink, hence sometimes the jack comes out if there is a bit of tug. The part where it scores over the DLink switch is the power adaptor - while the former one's is very bulky and heavy, this ones slim and lightweight - which has its own share of advantages. I did not find any problem in it's working. If you want to go for a cheap yet good switch, this is the one!

Bought it to play Counter Strike with friends at Hostel. Playing it through causes lag. This works pretty good. 8 people connect simultaneously. No need to set IP. Just set IPv4 settings to automatically and it will automatically asign the IPs to the computers.
