The controller is a great controller, I have been using this for a couple of years. I mainly play FIFA and it is a great boon to use this controller over local controllers. Definitely worth getting an original. However I recently ordered one from Flipkart (choosing a Flipkart Advantage seller to ensure I get an original) and got a very impressive looking FAKE controller. Anyone who hasn't used an original might get fooled. I asked Flipkart for a replacement, but as the seller was out of stock I was forced to return it and look elsewhere. Points to look out for - 1) Original has 9ft (2.7m) long cable Fake has 6ft cable 2) Original can be connected to both Xbox and PC (has a Xbox connection with USB converter) Fake has USB only 3) Original has glossy black finish Fake has matt black or grey finish 4) Original has smooth edges at joints (good finish overall) Fake has rough edges at joints 5) Original is heavier than fake (you have to have an original in hand to compare) 6) The fake's buttons are not as responsive as orginal Everything else in the fake looked very convincing and original like. So unless Microsoft is making a cheap version of the same controller for India and China, this is a high quality fake. So beware of what you're buying and ensure you get the product you want. So while I rate the controller - 5 star My Flikart experience with this controller is 2 star (as I was able to return it with ease even though I got a fake when I was assured original by Flipkart Advantage) Hope my review helps.

hi know what is orignal and what is local, you sending local chinese made controller which is available for in india for 900 rs for cost 2000rs each. for people like us sended didnt informed about local remote ,these chinese remotes are so bad in quality that they will not work more then 1 day. there buttons like RT and LT will stop working in just 2 days. just opened all remotes on 20th july and saw all of them local now i request replacement or my money back. try to give negative feedback but not available

One I got from Flipkart feels like a duplicate one as - 1.) It's edges are sharp. 2.) Pressing the buttons or the Analog sticks feels like it'll break apart. 3.) Makes a pressure like noise when buttons are pressed. 4.) Worst of all there is no barcode sticker in the back. Bad experience from flipkart this time. Lesson learnt - won't order electronics from flipkart.

Bought this as a gift for a friend.. I've had an Xbox for years now. And I must say I love the both wired and wireless controllers by Microsoft. And I think the color black looks cooler. The wired controller's cord is really long. Enough for you sit back and relax on your couch if you a giant HD TV and dont want to increase the number on your glasses like me, due to hours of blink-less gaming. If you compare it with a playstation controller, this one seems better. Especially, the LT and RT buttons. Yeah, they may be noisier than the other buttons, but they are the best considering their placement. And the clickety noise is sometimes a must to know that your buttons are working :P The left thumbstick is the best thing ever, if you were annoyed by the lower placement of the left thumbstick of the Playstation. Anyone who started with an Xbox, will find it difficult to get back to a playstation. Alright. Enough with the Playstation bashing. PC compatibility is great, so I don't need to buy another gamepad just to play games on my PC without the keyboard. I would recommend everyone to play with this gamepad instead of a keyboard cos, frankly, there are way too many keys on a keyboard, and if you have large fingers, they might get into your way, and you might simply do a friendly fire which is not tolerated. Talking about flipkart. Flipkart was lightening fast when I ordered this product. I ordered at 12:25pm on Jan 06, and boom! Jan 07 12:00pm, it got delivered. Seriously, do you guys have a teleportation device or something. Anyway, 5 stars for the product.And 5 stars for Flipkart.

This is the best controller for experiencing console-like experience on your pc. The difference you feel while playing the games is notable. And you can go on for 3-5 hrs without feeling tired as it is very ergonomic and very comfortable. Also the vibration feedback is amazing and adds a new dimension to your gaming experience. It works the best on all new games(XInput) and aslo works on old games but the triggers wont work properly as in XInput Mode, they are treated as Z-axis and not as buttons. I've played Resident Evil 5, Fifa 11, X-men Origins: Wolverine, Blur and it was absolutely thrilling. If you have a hdtv at home, then this gamepad will make your day. You might feel that the wires will get in your way but its 9-foot in length!!! Here are the pros(many) and cons(very few) of this amazing gamepad : -> Pros: 1) Very responsive triggers and analog sticks. 2) Genuine Vibration Feedback. 3) Very Ergonomic so no worries about continuous plaing!!! 4) Tailor-made for all new games so no hassles of control mapping. 5) And the best choice for X-box fans and also a good start for ps2/ps3 console type gamepad players(Like me). -> Cons: 1) Pressure(L & R) triggers wont work properly on old gamees. 2) Yet to find more cons...... All in all, this is the best gamepad I've used until now. And thanks to Flipkart for their fast delivery( Ordered on 31st dec 2011 and got it on 2nd jan 2012..) and the packaging was nice. I Quote: " A MUST BUY FOR EVERY PC GAMER!!!"

The only thing I was concerned with when buying this was whether it was an Original Controller or not. There are so many fake ones out there that it is close to impossible to tell the difference. Luckily I had an original refurbished controller to test this against and my doubts were all cleared when I had a closer look. Granted the controller is pretty expensive for a console that came out 10 odd years ago (Rs 2456/-), but I really needed one since I was setting it up to use on my Gaming PC (had issues setting up first copies). The best thing was that once I set the battery in, it was detected and connected to my PC almost immediately. I have played a handful of games and so far haven't faced any issues. Would've really hoped to have gotten it for a cheaper price but based on what's available out there this was the cheapest I could have gotten it for in India. Would definitely recommend buying this if you're looking for an original XBox 360 Wireless controller

got the shock of my life when a fake controller was delivered from ws retail. what's worse even after 1 week of calling/mailing & twittering i didn't got any response. i was hoping to get them to see that they are committing a major fraud on indian customers by selling fakies when their tagline on every page at bottom says "all products sold are 100 % genuine". but still after getting no response i have decided to return the product to them. some sure shot fakie giveaways are : 1. Microsoft logo and serial no stickers are not aligned properly (all original product have the stickers properly pasted into their respective slots) 2. no DVD comes in the pack (original ones come with microsoft engraved) 3. The bigger sticker is light green in color with a dot bulge inside it (original ones are black in color with no bulges underneath) 4. No inline cable 5. the serial no on the controller does not matches the serial no printed on the microsoft box it came with neither ws retail invoice. 6. left n right sticks are very firm/rigid to move behaving more like dpads. 7. Microsoft orb has a very cheap looking green painted over it and it's backlight resembles a Chinese torch.

Bought this 3 years back, and it has survived hundreds of hours of heavy gaming since then. But alas, a few months back it started having some minor issues. The right shoulder button has gotten loose, because of playing Skyrim. The wire also sometimes loses connection to the PC for a moment if moved roughly. But considering that I bought this for Rs 1400 and the fact that it lasted almost 3 years without a problem, I will give this a 5 out of 5. On a side note, if you are looking to buy a controller for the long term, I suggest waiting for the Xbox One controller to launch in India, as it is a definite improvement.

I bought this gamepad from Reliance Digital, came with a one year warranty. But shortly after buying it I started having an issue with the analog console. When I reported this to Microsoft I was told this is a usual problem that gamers face and that they wont cover any issues faced after 3 months of buying the gamepad even though I had raised a similar concern within the first two months of buying it, which Microsoft didn't pay much heed to and I couldn't do much following up since I was kinda busy.. So take my advice and go for a Logitech or a Thrustmaster gamepad. I have used them both nd they are both pretty awesome..hope this helps :) 0.5/5

I am using this controller for over 2 years, its as new as it was bought on first day and believe me , it still works like a charm. I play Fifa 13 , battlefield.. etc.., and you know, most of controller's left analogue stick gets damaged soon as they play FIFA... but using this controller, you know.. there no word such as damage.. after its MICROSOFT product!! yea.. now that make sense!!! right! Go for it, only if you are a gamer!!

pros -- its not damaged ,neither packing nor the goods, working well it reached in real fast tracking is much easier and real nice cons-- price automatically changed with additional tax , its good if u add all the price @least being transparent doesn't hurt District subdivisions or @least Every District HQ would have a flipkart collection point
