At first, I was not sure to buy this product or not, because most of the reviews are negative, not only for this but for most of the similar products. I read all the reviews and realised that the user who gave negative reviews don't know how to operate it properly.I bought an Atta maker along with it, right proportion of atta, water and oil to make a soft dough is needed i used 1:1:1 proportion. you need to pre-heat roti maker before use. it has an autocut function so start preparing when the light is off.After making the dough, just place small flat round shaped dough on the roti maker , half cook one side and close the lid for the top side. it makes good chappatis with considerably less amount of time.check youtube videos and try yourselfUpdate: added pics, its perfect make sure the dough is softUpdate 2018: still getting good result from this... Definitely it is a best rotimaker but we need some practice and dough consistency must be some what wet,it is not much safe because the applience is heating as a whole including stainless steel plates,care must be taken while using,the functioning of thermostat not up to mark ,no proper heat controls.

A great product. At first I wasn't sure if i would buy it because of the bad reviews. I decided to purchase it and try myself and it worked perfectly fine. All the complaints in the reviews aren't false all, but those are easily avoidable if you follow the procedure . So basically its a great product, you just need a bit of practice.

My experience.1) takes long time to autooff . With in 1st 3-4 minutes it gets heated which is sufficient for roti making, but it continued heating . Thermostat is not good .2) due to overheat roti looks ready to eat but inside it is still unbaked. Try other companies roti maker which have temperature control.3) MOST important - steel body also get overheated . My finger got burnt when I mistakenly touch steel body. I suggest only experienced people should use it. Better try for ceramic or fibre body roti maker.4) I had made roasted papad on it. It was good.5) Amazon delivery and packaging was good. Delivered before date .

Roti maker does not works, when I contacted with the sunflame help line, their response was more disturbing "we have got orders not to take call from online buyers." Please, buy this product, only when you see the demo or can directly complain to the seller.
