I have used many earphones and headphones in my life. I primarily listen to extreme metal. I listen to some occasional pop and rock too.
These are the best pair of earphones I've ever owned. Hands down. Better than the CX180.
Good Bass driven sound. Very clear. Better with an equalizer. I use the Poweramp Music Player. Buy blindfolded.

I have use senhizer 180 and now this 213.
Both are great when it comes sound quality.
213 is slight better compare to 180.
The only corn are
Cable is not strong
Ear pads comes out from the earphones frequently hence chances are to lose those anytime.
Same has happened with me and now there is no earpad on right side...

Ordered it for 899.Seller was Shreyash Pvt Ltd (Supercomnet) and found low quality sound output as well that Australia warranty made me doubt about it's authenticity.
So i searched the net and concluded that i have received a fake first copy. Felt bad and returned that piece through the 10 day return policy.
These earphones are good but make sure you receive the original piece. Would recommend you to contact sennheiser and verify your earphones.

Awesome sound. Much better than the more pricey cx 275. Surprisingly, the one that comes closest to the 213 is the cheaper sennheiser cx 180. I found the 213 to have a more rounded sound. Good bass, excellent mid range and nice (not too sharp) treble.

A worthy successor to the mighty CX180. I had owned the CX180 for 4 years and was absolutely blown away by its sound quality especially at that price range. I never thought that Sennheiser would be able to come up with another version of that beast that would be equally capable. I have never used any top of the line headphones in my life, so I won't be able to compare it with anything else. But I can tell you one thing that this headphone does what its made for. And it's definitely worth the money.

Excellent sound quality.. For those who like clear vocals.Fits good in the ear.Volume can go really high. The only con is the wire quality. Don't get me wrong the quality is good but not worth of 1200.I suggest u to buy cx180 instead which has almost similar sound quality.
