A very nice tablet...worth buying

I just recently bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (P3110, Wi-Fi, 16 GB).Though I didn't bought it from Flipkart, I'm still writing the review of it as the tablet really impressed me.
First of all let me clear one thing this tablet has NO CALLING FEATURE, there is NO SLOT FOR SIM CARD.You can only use internet Via Wi-Fi or a dongle.So people don't get confused with P3110 & P3100 (Which has a call facility, & the price is 5k more!)
So here is the Pros & Cons of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2...
Pros -
1) Stunning looks.Its really crafted very nicely.
2) Awesome screen, I don't know why some people in various websites are saying that the screen is not good.I mean you can't compare a 14k tablet's display to iPad's Retina display.
3) Touch is very smooth, with 1 GB DDR3 RAM & Dual Core 1 GHz processor all apps are running very smoothly.
4) You can update to Jelly Bean.
5) Camera can record 720p videos.
6) Have Bluetooth.
Cons -
1) No USB charging.
2) The default video player can't play the HD audio which are encoded in DTS.It only plays the video so you gets NO SOUND.Don't know why it happens, even the Micromax Funbook's Super HD player plays all these DTS encoded full HD flies smoothly! For these types of file you have to convert it or use other players like BS Player.
3) Speakers are positioned wrongly, it should have place at two end of the tab instead of one end.
4) The audio player is not giving the thumping output, the sound quality is mild.Even a good pair of headphones are not able to get good sound from it.Equalizer is very bad.

NO CALLING FEATURES!
now my review
once you hold the tab,you realise that its a bit on the heavier side,with the tab weighing 344 grams,this is heavier than the ipad mini,which has a full aluminium body and a 0.9 inch larger screen
so weight wise samsung could have done something better.
heating-after using the tab for around half an hour..it gets pretty much heated up..so samsung fares poorly in terms of heating
battery life-not bad,could have been a bit better
the jellybean-one word-AMAZING
its so smooth!
the internal memory-12.5 GB is available because of known reasons
1GB of ram is honestly more than enough,games like temple run work like a charm
the 1Ghz dual core processor-samsung could have improved the processor-1.2 would have been so good
the 3.2 mp camera is utterly terrible,5mp should have been a must when samsung was making the tab
Resolution-beautiful,the brightness is more than enough when put bang in the middle in the brightness scale,brightness in lowest looks like a kindle...lol
final verdict-
things like the camera makes this tab a bit,well..on the lower side,but i dont care...im not into taking photos
but the rest of the features for 9k make this tablet seriously a strong contender for reputed companies like the huawei and lenovo
and the cheap tablets
for calling features,buy the 19k tab p3100,but holding the monster for calling on your ear looks bizarre

Extremely Nice Hardware at 14K....

It may not be the best around the market but at 14K this is the best deal in my opinion, Nice Response, Good Processing Speed, Good GPU, Excellent Screen, Large Storage, these will never make you feel bad...
Now some of them claim that Mali400 GPU is more fast than SGX540, ya I agree but behind the scene there is one more thing that people ignore that is the Chipset that backs it, if you use All-winner Chip equipped with Mali400 then you will never try to use Mali400, here this dude is backed up with TI (Texas Instruments) OMAP4430 in which PowerVR SGX540 works extremely Great for High End games.
The screen is a PLS (Plane-to-Line Switching) with 16M colors is the new version of IPS by Samsung so you will get a good color depth and also better viewing angle than IPS.
Not going to other technicalities as it has a lot to talk about, I suggest you to use it by yourself and experience it, you will feel the difference.... Until then thanks for reading........
No Dongle Support for Internet

Just recently received my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 3110 from Flipkart..Look stunning..Performance is excellent..Graphics are cool..But only thing that hurt me that it doesn't have USB support for Net dongle..Anyway worth buying.
Nothing better than this under 10k

I have recently bought samsung galaxy tab 2 3110, though not from flipkart, i got the tab at rs 9700 from the famous store in my area. Now let's talk about the tab...
(1) The tab 3110 comes with a 16gb memory storage out of which you will get 12.17gb for your usage, remaining storage is for android OS itself.
(2) The tab on paper is a 1gb Ram device, but u will get 770 MB out of it, again for obvious reason.
(3) Before buying i read lot's of expert reviews saying it's screen resolution is a bit at lower side, but believe me frnds i never find the screen dull or anything, rather i use only 50% brightness on my device and with this brightness, everything looks good...
(4) Android Jelly bean 4.1.2 is the OS that comes with your Tab, and by september end every tab will get an update to 4.2.2 which is latest practical android version in market today...
(5) A very smooth experience i m having with my tab, almost all the high end games and videos works on this simple yet beautiful tab...no lags...
(6) Lot's of my frnds must be waiting for tab 3, which has already been on sale in US and CANADA from 7th july, frnds waiting for tab 3 or nexus 7 II is not a great idea, i know new technology is always better than the previous one, but there are very few tabs in the category that has got such market value and success, and secondly tab 3 is not very much different from what the successful tab 2 is...
(7) Don't compare this tab with ipad mini, bcz ipad mini is 2.5 times costlier than tab 2, but not as good as 2.5 times of tab 2...
(8) It's an all purpose tab, i.e gaming, reading, browsing, social networking, business, entertainment and much more..
(9) Finally for all those who criticise the tab as it is only a wifi variant, believe me frnds holding a 7 inch + 345 gm tab near your ears looks bizarre, it's better to buy a 1k phone for calling purpose, still you can use apps like viber, skype, tango for calling and video chattings....
with this i will end my review, this tab 2 is highly recommended from my side....enjoy!!! cheers!!!
