I assembled this product first & then noticed that it was leaking from both the top & the bottom of the transparent section. I went through the reviews section to only find out that many people were facing the same issue. Then I read the manuel & found these 2 important instructions, however it was not so easy to find, I think the company should mention this in front some were so that people don't get confused1. You should not fill the transparent section completely, this solves the first leak.2. There is a blue coloured big nut in the transparent section that needs to be tightened, this solves the second leak.The product is good considering the price.

I purchased this 14L Pureit classic purifies from Flipkart. The seller was Euroshine,. The first time I got the product, the top lid was missing. Also, there was no user manual or warranty card included. I immediately requested for a replacement. However, the 2nd time around the indicator that is there on the 2nd chamber came off as soon as I took the product out of the box. Since I did not want to go through the whole return process again and waste some more time, i thought I would make it work for me and I did. BUT, as I started using it, the lowest chamber started leaking water. It was all over my kitchen shelf.
This was my first time buying from Euroshine and I had to go through the trouble twice. I am pretty sure all their products must be defective as it happened with me twice in a row.
Flipkart should definitely blacklist them and stop partnering with them.
Stay away from the seller "Euroshie".

First of all hats of to the flipkart guys... man... come on!!; I ordered it on Friday and Saturday I get an sms that it will be delivered by 7pm that very day!( I received it on 1 pm).
Next for the product:
In our apartment, we get water from tanks( not municipal ones)... looking at the condition of the tanks I don't think its safe to drink water directly without treating it. We normally use it for washing etc. So if we boil the water, we can see some white particles at the bottom of the vessel once the water cools.
Now for the actual test:
I poured same water direct from the tap into pureit. It took nearly an hour or so to get the first batch. With a bit of hesitation, I took a glass and drank it. The water was clean!! no odour, no colour... but a very light saline taste. But hey, come on... with no RO,UV it is giving me something that I can drink.
In most of the sites, I could not find any bad review regarding the product but they say the after sales service was awful. But the manual that comes with the product gives complete description on how to change the germkill kit. So, just go and buy it from the shop... you can change it yourself; it no rocket science!( you even get youtube videos on how to do it :) ). So, no comments on post sales service.
