The best part apart from playing bluray discs, it plays anyting you throw at it connected it to a wireless router through LAN and acts as a Network player.I play from my Mobile videos and music to this player due to Network features Those of you have not heared the quality of SACD's this budget device will give you just that. I connect my 1TB HD to it and it quickly recognises and we can play from it. The UI is pretty simple and any nob can master its setting. Overall Superb Device for the price.

I needed a premium bluray player and wanted to purchase one among the sony s790, samsung BDP 7500 and the panasonic BD 500 fortunately I decided for the pioneer as the sony and panasonic were unavailable in india. I didn't need a region free one as I have a US panasonic BD80. I needed dual HDMI outputs and a very good digital music source for my separate DACs. This one is exceptional both for video as well as audio. The playback from the USB stick/hard disk is better than my asus oplay air and western digital hdd player. Cons: There is no built in wifi however you can purchase one separately. You can connect via an available ethernet port. Loading times are also decent. It is capable of playing SACD as well as DVD audio. A HDMI cable was also included. Aesthetically it perfectly matches my black Yamaha RX675 as they have the same horizontal dimension. Also you dont need an step down adapter as one would have needed for a US model.
