It has perfect sound.And don't worry about bass effect as it can be controlled by the Equalizer.Yes it doesn't have a bass knob or remote,which are it's cons but at 1.5k,it's the best pick and on top of it,it is a Philips with an year warranty.Made up of wood, and has pretty loud sound.Another con is that you can't use the small satellite speakers individually,they must be connected to the subwoofer.
