Pathetic quality standards

I bought this a year back. Within 6 months its motherboard failed . Took it to Panasonic authorised service centre. They repaired it- took more than a month- free of cost. I understand they cannibalised a new phone to repair this one. Now again the phone is completely dead. I bought Panasonic hoping that quality will be high. But the company has betrayed my confidence.It is really sad that Panasonic now makes such a poor quality product.Urge all to be cautious while buying.
Good basic cordless phone

This has met my expectations as it fulfills the requirements I had in mind.A compact handset with a directory (for much used numbers), has the speaker-phone facility and locator for locating misplaced phone.It uses standard AA-type rechargeable batteries which would be helpful when time comes to replace them.The display is clear with large letters suitable for older people also.Good clarity.

Disturbance and Sound issue

There is always disturbance in calls. I wonder whether it is due to this set, or the disturbance around my home, but it is there. Also, I feel less sound, both in ring tone and voice over the phone.

I bought the product on March,2017 and it has started malfunctioning from the month of June. The phone has been continiously ringing. Panasonic customer service is worst I have called them but no one is picking up the phone.

I purchased it after airtel introduced Rs.99 / month unlimited calls all over India. Did a lot of research and decided to buy this because of 3 main reason.
1) Brand name: Since Panasonic is considered to be the best in Cordless phones.
2) Big size display Screen. Others in this range are comparatively smaller.
3) 100 Numbers Phone book memory (Others in this range give 50 numbers memory).
I placed order on 11th June (Thursday) around 11 AM and it was delivered to me on 13 June(Saturday) around 8.30 am. Here is my opinion after using it for three days.
Pros:
Setting up the phone is easy. Sound quality is very good. There is no distortion or disturbance in sound even though I have kept it just next to the wifi router. While talking I roamed around the house and found the range to be good without any effect in sound quality. I charged it for 7 hours on first day as suggested and the battery is still 90 % after almost 2 hours of talking and 2 days of standby.
Cons: None. Because, I did not expect this to do anything more. It satisfies my requirement and solves the purpose.
Slow in dialing/receiving, but otherwise OK

To start with, the default language was Arabic or some such language. I had to dig into the manual to change the language settings.
There are some cool features, like the handset powering the base during power cuts and using rechargeable AAA batteries, but access to the call logs are not very friendly.
My main complaint is the lag in picking calls as well as dialing. I do remember the experience of some Panasonic high-end models, and was very disappointed. Just because it is a budget device does not mean it should be slow.

1. No number or name is displayed for incoming calls, Only ring you can hear! Is this the issue?
2. I can not reject a incoming call, I've to mute it if I don't want to receive a call or just receive the call.
3. There is NO signal strength shown at the top.
