This is my First product From Brand Olympus. At first I hesitated to buy this binocular. Because it's expensive. But after reading all the reviews I have decided to purchase the product. I think i didn't make the mistake to purchase it. The images aren't like cheap ordinary binocular. Very Sharp & Crystal Clear image with nice zooming option. At this price point, u can't get better than this one, But if you want higher zoom then go for higher models. After all it's a quality product & I really like it..

This is a fantastic product. Used it recently in jungle a area to sight both wildlife and birds, it has left me with some stunning images and colours. Also used it for sky gazzing and it works wonders here too. I have used more powerful binoculars than this at the same time and can conclude that it simply works better than some of its competitors products which cost 3 to 4 times more than its cost.5 Stars : for build, quality, user friendliness4 Stars : Lens protection, would prefer something that could be tagged along with the binoculars.

I am a photographer having interest in bird Photography and after some online research finalised this binoculars. The product was delivered on time by Amazon as usual. The binoculars felt study with a good grip and the weight was just perfect. Quite easy to use and the eye cup rubbers were soft enough. It came with a good case. Overall completely satisfied with product.

I bought this as a gift. The service was excellent, Flipkart shipped it within 3 days (upon my request). The packaging was also very good. I tested the binos for a day or two and was really impressed by the wide angle views. These are nice to hold, and robustly build. I found them very good for daylight viewing and reasonable good for viewing night sky. Recommended. An update to original review: I bought DPS 10x50 as a gift again. And that one is as good as 8x40. Olympus DPS is for sure the best binoculars in this price range (next being Nikon Action, but i'll prefer Olympus DPS before Nikon Action in case i have to buy a replacement for my binos).

Nice for outdoor events like sports, bird watching..etc.. Lens caps are not attached to the binocular, so have to worry all the time. Good for people wearing glasses. Bit heavy on the hands.. Crystal clear display. Overall, a good one for first buy.

Well, Flipkart shipped this beauty to me in a record 24 hours! I took it with me on a recent camping trip. These binoculars are a treat for all birdwatchers with superb magnification and come in a great carry case. However they are heavy and for people like me with a weak neck, they can be burdensome. Surprisingly, even though its eye-relief is not much, it offers good comfort for bespecatacled people like me. Go for it if budget is not a constraint and you want to see your birds up close and personal!

For newbies, this is awesome... I spent lot of time selecting a pair on the net- against good optics, availablity, and value for money. I bet on the DPS-I and it has been great. Watched the moon, stars, and lot many birds. It's price is up since I bought it, but still worth it all. Surely prefer this over the 2K priced ones, after all optics matter more than a few bucks for awesome experience. Get it!

Bought it at discounted price of thee k . At his price i can assure you that this is the best bins you can get. However, I faced an issue. The box i received had a tempered seal. I can not live with thought of having a product with tempered seal. I requested for replacement but instead refund was approved. Well If I buy again, I have to spend 1k extra now, since all discounts are gone. About product: its not heavy, weight is just perfect and makes it stable. View is wide n pleasing. Fringes (purple and green) are present in high contrast situation, however since I am into photography since last 10years I notice it very easily and bothers me a bit. Most will not notice. Image is bright and good. Sharpness is only at middle area (all bins at this price range have this issue). You won't notice, since we see only at middle area 99% of time. So this is not a major issue. barrel effect is there (again all bins at this price range have). lens is only single coated. Just multi coating alone makes little difference. So again not an issue. Close Subject feels little flattened (distortion), most will not notice. good view even in dark. Overall at this price, this is a good product. You don't have to think twice before buying. I wish I could get a replacement. Summary: Flipkart delivery was excellent received it before estimated date. Discount was great. Its just that could not get benefit of discount, so whole effort was a big time waste. I could have bought it from some other place. Waiting for Flipkart guy to collect return. Now since I have to spend 1k extra for same product , I would prefer to spend "1k extra + few hundred" and get Nikon8X42 for following reasons: Nikon is 42 instead of 40 Glass is better. Its multicoated. All these thee factors will contribute and images will be aprox 20% better. Will update review on experience of returning this product and getting refund.
