Got this for personal home use. Here are some good points:
Nice Touch screen: Fluid touch screen. Very helpful with 8.1 UI. Otherwise you will have to switch to classic Windows UI if you don't have touchscreen.
Lighweight: At around 1.9 kg it sits in the middle ...not too heavy for home users not that light for travellers. So just check your needs
Fast boot time: Thanks to SSD it boots in 5-10 seconds after complete Shutdown and 2-3 seconds if you Hibernate.
One thing to note: Although it can be open 270 deg but none of those positions is handy to use. Best used as a conventional laptop.
Overall a good choice in this price range if you are looking for decent touch enabled laptop.

Any model of lenovo flex is pretty compaired to any lappy at that range but a laptop may be attractive as well have to work like specification and the buikd quality. I am going to mention some pros and cons...
Pros
Excellent looking
Very responsive touch screen
Display is good
Battery backup is upto 4 hour
Cons
The main disadvantage is the inbuild battery....u can not replace it when it will not give backup.....you might have to run on power supply or have to change laptop
No dvd writer
Inbuild graphics
Touch pad is irritating
So this type for laptop is not good at that price its having only look.....you might get better configuration in same or othe brand as well as look......you may check lenovo z50, g50 , z510 etc

Highlights:
light weight
touch is very good
fast bootup 10 to 20 secs
awesome look
Dual mode (use as a tablet or laptop)
Lowlights:
Display is not that great as expected
very poor battery life (2 - 3 hrs)
The bottom line
those looking for stylish looking, less weight and battery life is not a major problem i would suggest to grab this

* sound quality is very good i like most in this product.
*Processor is also good.
*Battery back up is also up to 3 hours.
Only the problem which i faced with touch pad (left right click is hard not up to the marks)

Bought this laptop's AMD version in hurry as my dell studio got dead First thing this laptop looks only shiny in its pics and description There are severe problems with keyboard as it is flimsy and sometimes it does not gets pressed when you try to push with little pressure. Regarding this problem i have read in others reviews and thought it will not be much of a problem, but i was clearly wrong. Mouse pad is also not good, and i have to buy a wireless mouse. Expect black colored one model instead of the silver shown in images. And the biggest problem is its LAN port, i must say very bad design. Flexible design of the LAN port makes it very easily lose contact and results in connection breakage frequently even with small movement. No serial port for connecting LCD projector. Also hinges looks weak, hoping it will stay intact till i arrange money to buy a new one. Finally thanks to Lenovo it comes pre-installed with lots of software from Lenovo, making laptop slow. Only pro is you can have a touch screen for low cost, which you are hardly going to use believe me. Advice buy some other laptop, or first check this laptop at a store.

Good FHD laptop with nice back light key board and stylish slim light weight design.Received within 2 days from Rocky marketing in good packing from Mumbai to Chennai.Windows 8.1 takes 30 minutes for initial settings/App install. Next time on wards boots/shut down in 10-15 seconds.You tube HD/Blue ray videos were not up to the mark. but HD videos played through pen drive were good with minute details and sound quality. But from few angles the video is not in depth. Normal fonts and colors are awesome.Touch is responsive and need to see after long usage. Tab mode is cool, but we wont use in this position frequently.USB transfers are pretty faster. Has HDMI Out to TV. Wifi is instantaneous.Cons : No DVD drive due to slim design.. Need to copy to pen drive, from CDs if you are installing software.(or buy external DVD Drive for 1500).Built in battery: Not sure whether we can open the back cover and replace cells in case of issues.Not sure on the durability of touch screen and it might be costlier to replace touch LED after warranty.McAfee Anti virus is installed. Fantastic laptop. Have it since 3-4 months now. Still looks and feels like new. Good performance for day to day use, FHD resolution is fab. Love the backlit keyboard, the design, the weight.Only downside in my opinion is the battery life, which is dreadful. Despite trying all kind of power settings, shutting it down completely (not always hibernate or sleep) and allowing the battery to drain (not always fully charged in socket) it rarely lasts 2 hours. That is, without any video editing, gaming or other, simply word processing, emailing and surfing. For such a recent model, I find it very disappointing.If it wasn't for the battery, this laptop deserved 5 star.

Earlier this year in Jan, i purchased the other model in this series, Lenovo Flex 2 14D Notebook which came with AMD A6 Processor. That laptop was also good as per the AMD specs and also since i had tried AMD for the first time. However below were the dissappointments:>No Backlit Keyboard>No Full HD Display>Touch was not that responsive> Uncomfortable keyboard.> Resale ?? Its AMD :|However i sold that one at some loss and went for this model(Flex 2 14 with core i3), all in all i am very satisfied with this one, have no complaints so far it works flawlessly. Touch screen is very responsive and Full HD display is brilliant, adding cherry to cake is the backlit feature of keyboard.One word: Awesome.

It is good laptop. but the best part is its Full HD screen.....I was looking for FHD screen which I got it with this laptop.I wonder..people always want high resolution screen mobile but dont bother when it comes to Laptop...Would have given 5 star if I was eligible to the Lenovo offers which is given for selective seller :(

Thanks amazon and the seller(ROCKY MARKETING) for the excellent service !Few things that matter:1] Display :This particular model - 59-429728 - has Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) IPS panel with touch.Here its mentioned as 1366x768 but its indeed a FHD display.2] Keyboard :Keyboard is backlit.3] Touch screen :The touchscreen is pretty good aswell.. responsive and no lag.Overall its a very good multi mode laptop with a decent price tag.
