This product is much better than the Flamingo Orthopaedic Heating Belt HC 1002 Heating Pad which costs Rs 625. I bought 4 Flamingo pads and for most of them the heating control didn't work after a few days. Worth paying the extra Rs 125. The heading pad looks like Cloth. Very satified with this product.

Rather simplistic... this pad is essentially a plain heating pad the size of a hand-towel.It does work.. It gets quite warm if set on high... Need to quickly keep it on medium for adequate warmth.Unfortunately... there is no washable cover or Velcro straps.. But the large size makes up for it.If you can stitch a simple cushion-cover with Velcro-Straps this pad will beat even the Flamingo Brand. Personally I think the company should provide the cover and add another 20-50 Rupees.Simple technique: Wrap the pad around the area you desire and loosely tie a band around to secure it in place.If you like my review.. please vote-up

Pros:1. Excellent Heating pad with built-in Thermostat which cuts off heater after reaching the heat target. Heat Target is given in 3 steps-I, II & III.2. Build quality is good.3. Heat Does not burn the pad as some buyers found out. Maybe randomly it happened..4. Good flexibility- Can easily apply on shoulder where it can slightly bend.5. Reasonable price for the quality given.6. Bought it for the JSB Brand. (Saw some good reviews for JSB's Products.Cons: Less but very very important.1. Would have given 10 stars if the remote wire was long enough to be held in palms rather than hang on the shoulder or below the shoulder. Remote controller is just about 4inch away from the pad which makes no sense. Cant reach it to control the heat.I attached an extra wire to bring the remote close to the palm. Pic attached. 2) Very weak elastic holder staps. Does not hold at all. Even the stiches of velcrow got torn off because of the elastic pull.Had to staple them.Should have used a cotton cover with buttons on straps instead of velcrow to hold the pad to the body.Needs 2 people to start the process..Suggestions for Improvement:1. Remote controller shud be at palm length.2. Elastic straps shud have buttons instead of velcrow.
