Ever since I bought my Bosch dishwasher, I was given to understand that finish products were the best. However finish classic is always out of stock on amazon. Therefore, next available option was to try IFB dishwasher detergent , salt and rinse. IFB did a below satisfactory job. It became lumpy in the box it self. It used to leave residue on the utensils. Then I tried finish powerballs. I found them expensive and ineffective, sometimes I used to add half tablet extra for proper cleaning but overall I was dissatisfied with the result. Since finish classis detergent is perpetually out of stock ...I was tempted to use fortune detergent. I found it effective and very economical in front of finish and IFB dishwasher detergents. Even tea pan is best cleaned by fortune dishwasher detergent. Seems finish has devised a clever strategy to create artifical demand for its expensive dishwasher tablets by keeping classic detergent powder out of stock endlessly. That's why it was important for me to share my genuine feedback and so that gullible customers can switch to something cost effective and result oriented. I have used fortune dishwasher detergent in combination with( IFB salt and rinse) as well as (finish salt and rinse aid).it was effective in these combos. Before writing this review I have cconsumed 2 boxes of finish detergent, one box of IFB detergent and twin pack of finish powerball tablets. Hope this review helps.

Purchased few times. Works well. Using it with Bosch dishwasher. Good performance at relatively more reasonable price compared to Finish dishwasher detergent.Few points -1. Comes in cardboard carton inside which powder is in a sealed plastic bag. Finish detergent comes in a hard plastic container.2. This detergent is soft washing powder which seems to have little moisture and it is not as dry and granular as Finish detergent. Refer to pictures of powder I am adding to this review. (Follow up note - moisture and granularity varies with batches and possibly had impact on how nicely the inner plastic packaging is sealed)3. Performance wise we have not seen any significant difference in Fortune or Finish detergent. Both work well in dishwasher. Adding few pictures of utensils cleaned with Fortune detergent in the dishwasher.4. Fortune is Made in India where as Finish detergent is imported.5. If you go by MRP and typical price online Finish costs around Rs 375 to Rs 430 per kg compared to Fortune which is Rs 200 to Rs 240 including shipping per kg. At current price points Fortune is a better value for money plus if you care you are buying a made in India product.Overall a satisfactory experience and purchased multiple time.

Had to switch to Fortune as Finish classic is never available. Initially was apprehensive on quality after reading feedback - however after using it for past 3 months, I can confidently say that the quality is on par with Finish. I use this in Bosch Dishwasher. No residue or any other issues. Will continue using this even if Finish is available. Worth the money and quality. Some feedback is about powder forming into lumps - I dont believe that impacts the quality or performance of the detergent. Go for it!!

It does the job but seems to be a bit harsh. Finish detergent is much better but since it is not available with only the expensive powerball version being pushed, there seemed to be no option but to buy Fortune. Since the non availability of Finish, Fortune rates have also gone up in one way or the other even if it is termed as delivery charges. I have recently started using home made dishwasher powder which does the job well and at only about 50 - 60 Rupees a kg. In the detergent department I put half teaspoon vim liquid and on top 3 teaspoons of soda bicarb {meetha soda used for cooking} and top it with a teaspoon of common salt. I found this on the Internet and it works well for me. The soda works as a cleaner also and prevents foam from forming by the vim liquid.

Excellent result. Those finding it inferior to finish is either not using proper quantity or dishwasher settings has problem. Using in Bosch dishwasher for last six months after giving up finish, and checked back to back with finish products many times, no visible difference between two. Not complaining about finish though.
