Finally i have a mechanical keyboard. Does it make me complete? Yeah sure why not!Pro: lights are very good indeed.Plug and playArrow keysCompactvery smooth to type on.Con: tiniest keycaps ever, those used to chicklet will find it difficult at first but you will get the hang of it and want to keep typing.sounds like trash, i am wearing earphones to block out the clack, but it's not that loud though definitely audible to everyone in the room.Verdict: If you don't look at keyboard when typing, the lights don't mean much to you, though it is cool to show off, and typing is fun. Not worth the wait ( they need two weeks to send)

Good but Not Great

Long long ago, there was a time when I thought mechanical keyboards were a just a gimmick. Little did I know that I was a misguided fool. One day, I bought this here Squadron M and its pure awesomeness was clear. Now the keys on my old membrane keyboard, which i thought were so great, feel just gooey :( . The difference is so noticable that... it's astounding just how noticeable it is!!!?! :DDem features, well its packin a lot of fancy goodies ;- Kailh LH Blue, that LH stands for Long Hua. These Long Hua switches are made by Kailhua Electronics , same as the normal Kailh Blues, but the LH ones are only rated to 50M clicks while normal Kailh Blues are rate to 70M clicks.Oh these clicky blue switches....they feel SO GOOD to type on but their loud sound is so annoying. Basically, Kailh blues use the same design as MX blues albeit with cheaper materials and without gold contacts(dat bling yo!). Some people say the key presses feel uneven between keys on these cherry MX clones but I could not feel a lot of that here either because these are really good keys or because Im just not sensitive to that sort of thing.Though I do feel a difference in actuation force with my S and D keys...a slight difference.-True RGB lighting for each key, but you don't get any software control which is a bummer because you only get to see all 16.7 million colors on the color cycle preset(of which there are many). + Brightness control which works by using PWM dimming...which is fine as long as you're not looking straight at your keyboard 24x7.- N key rollover/full anti ghosting(yes, I did test it....atleast with 10 keys at once cuz i only got 10 fingers)- TKL layout - now this is a matter of personal choice . I ditched the number pad because I just dont use it all that much + the saved space on my cramped desk was more than enough justification for getting a ten keyless kb.Oh and its got a metal top frame(I think...0_o) and a braided USB cable too.But the one thing I feel conflicted about, with this keyboard, is it's usefullness in gaming( kinda ironic because I bought it for said purpose!). As i said before,on one hand Blue switches feel SO good but you better crank up the volume on your speakers(or use a headphone) to drown out the noise. Maybe I should have gotten something with reds or browns purely for the lower noise.Tl;dr - nothing overly amazing here, just an average mechanical keyboard if you can get it for the right price (I got it for less than 3k). ;)If you can get another mech KB for less then you should.
