Belkin is undoubtedly the best when it comes to power surge protector. It has universal plug so can use with any country's pin. Have been using this one in a 6- socket variety for almost 4 years now. Works perfectly fine. Only con is it is a bit expensive, you will find cheap local alternative, but those don't last long. Belkin one does the job well.

You can't go wrong with a Belkin power strip. Have been using them for years without any problems thus far. Haven't had any problems with sparking. All international plugs fit snugly without any wriggling.It also comes with a ?15000 electronics protection cover in case of device failure.The black looks much better than the white one.

Does what it's meant to do with no issues, works like a charm. Belkin is that rare brand you can trust without reading the reviews, but if you're still reading this let me tell you how amazing this product is. I bought this primarily for my laptop (Macbook) charger which has USA plug. The Good: - The product looks solid as compared to other brands in this category, that is it will not break or damage easily. - The wires seems to be thicker than the others, so gives confidence that it's made out of quality materials So why 2 Stars? Its because.. The Bad: When I plug in the USA plug, they do not fit tightly/snugly as the Indian plugs do. They do not completely go in, so they sit loose. That leads to 2 problems: - There is dangerous/uncomfortable looking sparking when you try to insert the plug. - The plug comes off very easily if its disturbed. This is particularly an irritating problem with MacBook chargers, as they are heavy and sit directly on top of these extension box. Due to its heaviness and the fact that they do not fit tight in the sockets, they balance awkwardly and falls down even when they are disturbed lightly. Second, if you have wall sockets which are in the middle of the wall (and not at the bottom near the floor), the wires are little short for the box to move around a bit to find optimal resting place on the floor. With this length of the wire the extension box has to sit almost 90 degrees below the wall socket. Which is annoying as there is no flexibility of moving the box around a little when you change your position of your laptop. All in all, I was personally very disappointed that these extension boxes do not handle USA plugs well. I paid more money than local brands thinking that this would be the last of my worries with Belkin (a USA company).

And for PEOPLE WHO ARE PLANNING to go for a low budget surge protector than this,its ok if you dont face power surges ORR One thing THEY should know that i came to know from a surge protector buying guide website. The main thing for people to pay attention too is that they are in fact buying a "surge protector" and not a POWER STRIP . A consumer should look for the words SURGE PROTECTION, FUSED STRIP, or INTERRUPTER SWITCH. If it says POWER STRIP on it it most likely does not offer surge protection, so PAY ATTENTION!!.
