It has 2 USB ports (3.0+2.0) and it also has a RJ45 LAN port as well. before buying any laptop on flipkart please do confirm the specifications with the manufacturing company.

I have ordered it on Saturday morning and received the item in the Sunday evening. I must appreciate the delivery time span.
Now about the product, the driver CD is only compatible to windows 8.1 64 bit OS. Other than that nothing seems to be an worried factor as of now. Handy product with modern structure.

Flipkart delivered the item two days before the deadline and this is appreciated. The item started of from Mumbai came to Patna (I do not know why) then back to Mumbai, and then to Bilaspur, Kolkata and Salkia before reaching me at Howrah.
I was planning on using this machine with UBUNTU 14.04 LTS but everything went off well except that I could not make the stupid machine recognise that there was a built-in Bluetooth Adapter. Buyers are warned to check in the Internet for this unresolved problem with this Asus machine. The trouble is that Bluetooth enabled gadgets will not be able to communicate with this machine until some solution is found.
Secondly, the BIOS version is 209 when already version 211 is available on the internet. The suppliers should have updated it to the current state of the art. This is a big lapse.
Thirdly, prospective buyers may check the marginal performance of this item on the internet. For the price, this product is good enough.

It is all about value for money. If you are an avid gamer, do not waste your time reading the specifications. As I was looking for laptop with above-medium performance for word processing purposes, I would say that I found my chosen one. Because of my tight budget, I was looking for lowest-priced one suitable for my purposes. No lag at all. Screen is good in terms of colour reproduction. HD videos are smooth.Surprising element are the time it takes to bring the start up page after pressing the on button. 10-12 seconds; and for shut down under 10 seconds!Other components are working OK except keyboard. Some keys are not working - but when I googled, I found that almost all brands plagued by this peculiar issue.Overall, a satisfying purchase.

Best laptop ever seen at this price, i love its super sonic sound, everything is perfect for home and office use, only one this, there are no driver support for win 7 vista and xp, ram and graphics are low for playing heavy games, although its not made for gaming, but a user will wish to play some high graphics games so its not suitable, its front pannel gets scratched easily,overall better quality at this price

A good product with the price range mentioned. Everything is working fine me: the keyboard, the wifi, blue tooth, LAN, audio output, the camera.Boot time is really fast (mine is Win 10). Start to window screen within 12 sec.You have to update the bios if you are trying to install from bootable usb.Negative: Battery and RAM are not easily accessible. ASUS has been miser by not providing LED for caps lock, wifi, blue tooth, nor any key combination for these e.g., function+ key#. However, these are acceptable if you consider the quality of the product and the price.

Budget laptop for home/daily use
Windows 8, Word processor and email works flawlessly
There is some delay/ latency in high IO searches from windows, or when multiple applications are opened.
Cons:
2 GB RAM is little less for any gaming or heavy IO jobs
Only 1 DIMM slot, making upgrade difficult, as have to part with the installed 2GB to upgrade
BIOS would need update on the laptop to be stable, there is a bug in the one i got.

Good One.....But don't have drivers compatible to the Windows 7. The drivers provided by the Asus only support Window 8.1 and not even Window 8. They do not have driver on their website also. When consulted to the Customer Care Executive, I was informed that the only option I have is to install Window 8.1 as they donot have drivers for any other Window.

It is really good. You cannot expect better in this price... Just superb... Forget to play games (may be light weight games run smoothly), just go for internet, play media and enjoy.... One more tip- works perfect only with windows 8.1..
