This product can be purchased only if your income is around 1-1.2 Lacs per month minimum. Otherwise forget it. Most of the 79% middle class people in India earn 20-25000/- per month, higher middle class earn 30-40000/ per month. So overall 80% population in india earn at average 40000/- per month or lesser. That is the reason you hardly see mac products in India. Mac, please make a laptop which can cost around 25000/- and see the magic. I am sure 80% Indian will have one Mac.

I don't think one needs to really review an apple product.. More so when one is shifting from one platform to other.. In my case i shifted from windows to mac.. And believe me the change was amazing.. Though expensive than other company laptops, the expense is worth it.. And thanks to snapdeal I really got the product at ground low price!! And once again great delivery time and great packing from the courier people..

I bought this Macbook Pro on Feb 2015.March 2015. Within a month of purchase I had to send it apple care service centre because the screen went black and it refused to start. All data was gone. Apple care returned with re installed OS saying the Logic Board ( Motherboard) was faulty and replaced it.June 2015. Once again out of nowhere the screen goes all black and and the Macbook Pro goes dead. Gave it back to Apple care and guess what the reason is, the logic board is dead AGAIN. Got the logic board replaced, lost all data. S***ty experience.June 2016. Well No surprise here as to what must have happened. The macbook pro wont just turn on and is dead again. Went to Apple care and guess what the problem is, Logic board is dead.Now a INR 95,000/- flagship laptop from Apple lies dead on a shelf.Contacted Apple Care for assistance and replacement (out of warranty third time) they showed a cold face. The repair cost for logic board replacement is 48,000/- approx.Apple care executives are shittiest and least helpful people. Once they have formed a judgement no matter how much you plead they dont listen and show no respect.The same problem persisted for 3times in a row and yet they fail to acknowledge that it is a Faulty machine.P.S. I have never given my macboo outside apple Authorised service centre.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ONLINE AT AMAZON.

5 stars for the MBP. 4 stars for the seller.Got the product at the lowest price possible.The delivery was prompt from Amazon, but there were two minute scratches on the lid, near the Apple logo, which was a let down.Now coming to the MBP -->1)It's a beast inside a small finely crafted Unibody.2)Looks Gorgeous, you'll fall in love with it as soon as u open it and turn it on.3)The retina display is amazing.4) The trackpad works excellently.5) Will fulfill all your AV editing and Coding needs.6)Comes preinstalled with Yosemite, which is a delight.7) Buy at least the 256GB version.8) Very Very fast compared to Windows.9) The user experience is unparalleled.10)The 9 hour battery backup and other Optimizations are too good.So far, excellent.Just one downside to this beauty,DON'T buy this if you have Gaming needs. Windows has much better and powerful laptops when it comes to gaming in this price range.There's a new early 2015 version which has been launched, which you can consider.But I bought this mid 2014 edition because I got it at a very good discount and also there's not MUCH of a difference apart from the trackpad and faster flash between these two versions considering the price difference between the two.And definitely buy the extended warranty within an year of usage.Rest assured, GO FOR IT...!
Shifting to Mac was the best decision!

I was one among those hating Apple without even using any product. I made a brave decision to buy this on recommendation from a close friend. The MacBook experience is way better than any Windows laptop I've used- even the high end ones which on paper have better configuration than Mac.Pros:- Windows made us believe hangs, delays and crashes as part of the PC experience. Use this guy and see the difference! Apps Startup fast, Code executes fast, and Multitasking is hassle-free- Battery life is insane. 8 hours of video streaming on wireless internet- The trackpad (with two finger and three finger scroll and click) keyboard and retina display are noticeably better- Awesome metallic body which is very light tooCons:- Small screen size. If you have money go for the bigger screen versions.- Installing applications requires some effort. But I've been able to install all the software I require with a few hours of googling.

Decision to buy Macbook pro MGX82HN/A through Amazon.in was good. Got the machine at great price and arrived timely . Great packing. Courier guy was not responding to calls made to him was a minor negative factor. This is my first macbook so still familiarizing. so far very good. Very fast compared to windows. Very sleek and easy to take around. Good battery life . Sharp display 256 GB minimum required if u want to store things. Bit pricey but Mac is Mac. Recommend to buy.

There are many product reviews available online about this product and the product is awesome. Laptop came with v OS ersion 10.9 Maverics and OS has to be updated for 10.10 Yasomite, update is around 500-700 MB. Purchased it as personal laptop, but felt so much love with it that now using it as office laptop. Initially getting comfortable with MAC OS (from Windows OS) took some time. As I m using it as office laptop with many applications open parallelly , but no strain has been observed on RAM. Apps for Macs like Lotus notes mail client, Mircosoft office suite as EASILY available. As I require to run some customized office software which run on Windows OS only, VMware Fusion is installed to get the job done. Although it is recommend to purchase genuine license of VMWare fusion, but can be installed without that also(core gen).Amazon service was awesome as always. Got the product before delivery date & time. Packing of the product was very good.
