After about a month of researching for that 'perfect' laptop as per the specs that I've wanted (8GB RAM, 1 TB, Full HD display, Core i5 (5th or 6th gen)), I came across the Aspire V3-574G.
Flipkart by far had the lowest price tag for this laptop compared to other competitor websites. (around 1-2k lower at the time I bought it - towards the end of Jan 2016). TECH SELL was the seller and man, what a delivery time! Ordered it on a Friday, was told I would get it on a Sunday but got it on Saturday. Seriously, Wow!
Pros:
1) Good price on Flipkart
2) Full HD display (1920x1080p) - not a lot of laptops at this price that offer this.
3) Backlit keyboard - not a lot of laptops at this price that offer this.
4) Looks REALLY simple but elegant. The patterned aluminium cover gives it a very sexy look.
5) 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 2.0 port - Most others have just one 3.0 port.
6) Dolby Home Theatre experience
7) VGA Port - Yaay! (Yea, I'm old school).
Cons:
1) The biggest thing I do NOT like is the fact that the speakers are below the laptop. So when I play a song, it sounds muffled. The moment I lift the laptop (exposing the bottom), the sound is amazing. I can't always keep the bottom lifted up unfortunately. Lol.
2) The power and activity lights are not easily visible. I should have ideally been placed somewhere where anyone could see it straightforward. It's in fact at the bottom left curve.. hard to explain - google and check. :)

There is only one problem with this laptop, it is having speakers on the base. Otherwise its an awesome laptop to buy compared to the other company laptops at this price.

Upset to see that the seller had already open the sealed box, to add an extra 4gb ram in the 4gb model to make it 8gb in total . Heights of cheating....??
