I have been using this for a while now. Excellent monitor reaffirming the reviews that I had checked out in multiple fora. The "low blue light" mode is good. The soft-touch switches can be a bit of a pain though. And when the monitor is displaying that it is going to standby mode on-screen, the soft-touch on/off switch doesn't seem to work? Using HDMI for now until I upgrade the MoBo to support DP. The integrated USB 3.0 hub is also very useful. It works very well with Linux (Fedora 22+).
Excellent Screen for Professional Work
By Yezdi Darukhanawallaon
This Dell screen is just amazing and has all the features I required. Since I am an Apple MacBook Pro user, this screen was just a simple plug & play for connecting to my MacBook Pro with the supplied Display Adaptor to Mini Display cable. Biggest advantage was the fast USB 3.0 Hub on the screen itself to connect my USB devices. It also has a fast charging port to charge mobile phones. It has a modern IPS panel cased in an ultra thin bezel, with clean and crisp clear viewing and almost no noticeable input lag. It is really worth all the money paid. For Apple fans, this the good alternative to the Apple 27" Monitor which is almost 3 times the cost.
Dell still stands on top here.
Awesome ...very good product and very reliable.Resolution is great and colour modes are good too. Stand and Display port Daisy chaining remains the reason for the purchase and choice over S2415H.
Great product. Super sharp
Great product. Super sharp. The vendor was super quick in delivering the product. I received the product on the day of ordering.
dead pixel after two weeks of use
By Amazon Customeron
After only two weeks of use a dead pixel came on the screen and its not covered under the warranty, you don't expected this kind of issues when paying ~20k for a monitor.
Excellent Quality Product
This product is excellent product. Good for designers
It was really worth for the money . Good display quality. I have beee using it for bit quiet some time. I found it very good
Yes I am happy with snapdeal service and Dell E Series E 24 14 24
Inch computer moniter.
Its very good !!
Crystal clear display, not flashy, good for work purpose.
The product is good. Also delivery was just 1-2 day delay, it is ok.
The best thing is I got it for below 10000. In the market the price is attest 11k.
Worth the money

If you are looking for a great display to go with your mac/pc, the dell u2414h is definitely a winner.
- Awesome colors, bright, crisp display, IPS panel
- Works great with the mac, colors looks just as good as my retina macbook pro
- Great ergonomics, height, rotation and tilt adjustable stand, a lot of monitors miss this simple but important feature and similar adjustable 3rd party stands are very expensive.
- Lots of input options, hdmi works great with my retina macbook pro (it also quickly goes to sleep when i lock the laptop)
- Multiple hdmi inputs so using a dedicated hdmi with my chromecast, which works great
- Hdmi audio out also works perfectly
- Slim and an almost edge-edge display experience, overall a very sexy yet unassuming design
- Great out of the box experience, great calibration
- In built powered usb hub if thats something that you're into
- the touch buttons are just plain bad
- a bit expensive?
Personally, I think it is worth every rupee. The colors are great, videos are really sharp and the adjustable stand is an absolute winner. Monitors are something that you invest every 4-5 years so its important that you choose the right one, even if its a bit more expensive. It also works great with my mac and chromecast, overall great job by dell.
Great job by flipkart as well, delivered the very next day, with multiple layers of packing :)
A great monitor
1. Very slim bezel
2. Full HD ; factory calibrated
3. Powered USB3 hub with 4 out and 1 input
4. Height adjustable stand
5. Good connectivity : One Displayport input, One mini display port input, 2 HDMI input
6. Completely compatible with my macbook pro.
1. No VGA/DVI ports
2. Only one display port to mini display port cable

After looking at options from multiple websites and brands, I landed up with this product. The Dell U2414H is simply brilliant...
1. Almost no rim to the screen. Looks awesome even when switched off. Elegant.
2. Screen is movable up/down and rotate! wow!
3, Fantastic resolution. Using it through HDMI from my ThinkPad
4. Anti glare. Stable image.
Cons: Not sure if there is...
A must buy! Its beautiful.
The Dell U2414H is a great 24-inch monitor for professionals!
By Asif Iqbal Shaikon
I have three devices that I wanted to connect to a monitor at the same time; my Macbook Pro Retina, my Sony PlayStation 3, and my Google Chromecast. So, I had to buy a 24-inch monitor with glare-free screen, thin bezels, multiple HDMI/Display Ports, USB ports, and an audio-out port.
After some research, I narrowed down to the Dell UltraSharp U2414H, the Dell UltraSharp U2412H, and the Asus MX239H. There were not many reviews for the Asus MX239H, so I went with the popular choice of Dell UltraSharp series. The Dell UltraSharp U2412H (1920 x 1200 pixels) has more brightness and slightly more pixels than the U2414H (1920 x 1080 pixels), but it didn't look as much futuristic, and had fat bezels around the screen. As I wanted a dual-monitor setup in the future, I finalised the U2414H as it has narrow bezels.
I bought this monitor for 22K. :( Flipkart charged around 2-3K higher than other online stores (Infibeam was offering it for around 19K).
I am writing this review after using the monitor for more than two months. It has great viewing angles and accurate colours. Thanks to the matt finish, there are no reflections on the screen at all, which also means that 250 cd/m2 brightness is enough for pleasurable viewing experience. There are plenty of modes to suit every type of content; movies, games, text, and multimedia. Thanks to audio output port, I am able to route audio of my music/videos from my OnePlus One or any other Android device through Chromecast, to my 2.1 channel speakers.
I've played some games on this monitor through my PS3 and I didn't notice any ghosting or response time lag during my experience. I can adjust the height, or tilt and turn the monitor in any angle that I want, thanks to adjustable stand.
If you really want a brighter monitor, go with the U2412H, as it has a brightness of 300 cd/m2, but for multi-monitor setup, the U2414H is much better. The U2414H is the perfect monitor for me, though Flipkart needs to reduce the price of the monitor a bit. I think 18K is the perfect price for the monitor.

Excellent. But I have to buy HDMI cable, because HDMI cable not included, only DV cable is there... I want to use with my laptop which have HDMI Out only.
