I Got This hard disk for Just 4500 rs at flipkart In Big Billion sale After sbi 10% Discount honestly for 4500 it's a steal deal. But it is also because there is a newer model available named toshiba alumini hard drive for same price so that it's Cost Will Go Down and a special feature of hard drive is when u r connected to usb 3.0 it shows blue light and on usb 2.0 it goes white which is very good in my openion. build was solid. Also another good feature i Found in This drive is When u Not Using it or Accesing Data It Will automatically Go To Power Savimg Mode It Shows U drive connected but not using it when u put files in it it automatically Starts. the one star i deduct is for it takes about 10 days to reach me as seller (retailer.net) ship it through speed post and packaging was so poor the hard disk box was teared from one side and no protection was provided in box which was disappointing. one more thing I don't like is while i visit toshiba site it says one year warrenty And on Flipkart it is showing 3 years warrenty. And Also The Instruction Manual/Limited Warrenty I got With Hard drive Says 3 Years Limited Warreny In It. and then i contacted flipkart and they assure me if u get any problem in hard disk in 3 years u can contact us . we will provide u service for the product. Today i got my Ext HDD ....Packaging was good without any extra frills which is ok......Product seems to be simple in finishing but looks and feel sturdy which do give confidence for worry free usage.....checked the read/write speed......at average am getting 76 mb/sec to max 118mb/sec for large files and 15 mb/sec to 36mb/sec in case of small files which is good in this price range.........Also the drive is very silent and doesnt get warm quickly which is awesome.

Toshiba is my all time favorite Backup Solution. I am using multiple Toshiba Canvio External Hard Drives from 2010 till date, didn't find any problem as well as any competitor who can come even near to it's performance and price. Ordered the Toshiba 2 TB Canvio this time and using it with love. Don't think, just Buy it.. You won't regret.. I Bet..

Good one and speed is not up to the mark,it's 3.0 hard drive but when we connected to 2.0 port, speed is only 15mbps for both copy and cut.when connected to 3.0 port,speed is about 60-80 Mbps which is good and not up to the mark when compared to other hard drives like segeat and WD. Those who are going to buy this I recommend
