Delivery was on time and hassle free..they delivered on a holiday even...but product quality is terrible. I used it the first time, it made some sound and stopped working. I complained in customer service..third day mechanic came...he said one of the wires inside had gotten burnt.he applied insulation tape over it..next day I again tried cooking...5 mins into cooking it again stopped and gave off a burnt offensive smell...have called customer service and booked a complaint...had enough of running behind this product...hope they either take it back or give me a new piece which works properly...please don't buy this product...terrible experience

Is the product good? Yes Am I satisfied with this purchase? Yes, absolutely. Is this automatic? Yes. Once the rice is cooked, it automatically goes from "cooking" mode to "warm" mode. You can take the rice out when you are going to eat. It maintains the warmness until then in that mode. Is it safe to use? Yes. It says on the box that it has a overheating protector. So maybe it wont burn your house or blast itself if you let it ON for too long or something. Does the rice get stuck to the bottom? There's an aluminum plate that should be placed at the bottom of the pan. This prevents the rice at the bottom from directly getting heated, burning and getting stuck to the bottom. However, I must say that even after having such a handy feature some rice seep underneath somehow and get stuck. That's a little unavoidable. I am not sure if that's avoidable in any rice cooker though! Package & Delivery? Excellently packed. I am a Flipkart First customer. I opted for "In-A-Day Guarantee". The delivery got delayed by just 1 day and Flipkart refunded 20% of the item's cost. That's sweet! How about the capacity? I usually cook only for myself. I use just one cup of rice and for me this looks huge. My guess is that at least a family of 3-4 can eat sufficiently if they use the entire pan. According to the manual, 1.5 L is the amount of raw rice it can hold. So that's pretty decent, except if you are planning to cook for a family of more than 3-4 members! Length of the power chord? I haven't measured it with a ruler. But with the looks of it, I'd say its around 1m. So if you have a plug too far then it might worry you a little bit. Also, the manual advices you not to use it along with other devices when being plugged in to a extension board. So that's pretty much it. I hope you found these information useful. I am very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this product to my friends for sure.

Ordered on 17th March. Received on 19th. As usual, excellent packing and on time delivery from Flipkart. This is the 20th order i have placed. Thanks to Flipkart for hassle free online shopping. Coming to product.....the rice cooker comes with Crompton Greaves trusted standards of performance. It is same in colour and design which looks more stylish. Finishing is bright. The 1.5 L can serve up to 3 members. It takes 25-30 minutes for cooking. It is provided with a temperature controller which is an additional safety device. Accessories provided are Measuring Cup, Cooking Plate and Scoop. The only problem i have been facing is the rice underneath is getting stick to the pan. It might be with the less/more quantity of water proportion. Overall, it's a best buy under 1500/-. I recommend it :) :)
