There are around forty rich lawyers and partners. They have a secret business. When Mitch joins the firm, he is provided with a well furnished house and BMW car. The firm has key to Mitch’s house and car, but Mitch is not aware of this. Wayne Tarrence, aFBI agent meets Mitch and asks him not to trust anyone in the firm. Mitch shares this conversation with the board members. Mitch learns who the firm's people really are. He is terrified. The members plant microphones and transmitters in his phones, the walls of every room in the house. He is sent out for some work with another employee. There he meets a young and attractive girl and the two starts talking. Mitch is drunk and the firm who hires the girl takes photographs of Mitch with that girl. The firm has photographs that can be used against him. They start blackmailing him. . Soon, Mitch finds out about organised crime, blackmail and danger are the true colours of this law firm. The story progresses with Mitch’s attempt to save him from the web of deception. The Firm is written in the third narration from various perspectives, which provides the reader with more knowledge of what’s going on The author has cleverly written about the dark side of large corporations, corporate blackmailing and how they deceive and manipulate its employee with money or other ways. The novel has suspense and thrill. It gives complete entertainment to the reader. I recommend this to all Grisham’s lovers.
