The Adventures Of Tintin is one of the most popular comic series to have come out of Europe in the 20th Century. A collection of 25 original books written by 1976 and 1 unfinished project released in 2004, the books created by Belgian comic writer Herge and later by his company Studios Herge.
This collection set published by Egmont is in English and in paperback. The collection has 25 of the original titles and two additional titles including Destination New York and Mr. Pump’s Legacy. These are a part of Herge’s collection of another Comic series – Jo, Zette and Jocko.
The books in Herge Tintin Collection Set of 25 Title include Tintin In America where Tintin travels to Chicago to report on a series of crimes, King Ottokar’s Sceptre where Tintin discovers a coup planned to dethrone King Muskar XII, Land Of Black Gold which finds Tintin travelling to the Middle East, and Flight 714 which lands Tintin in an Indonesian Islands. The path breaking books on Tintin’s journey to the moon which was written even before man landed in Moon are also included in the set.
Other crucial characters of the Tintin series are Snowy – Tintin’s dog, Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus.

About Herge
Herge is the pen name of Georges Prosper Remi, a Belgian cartoonist and comic book writer.
Herge has also written other comics such as Quick And Flupke, Fred And Mile, and Jo, Zette And Jocko. His last creation, other than the last Tintin book in 1976 was the short comic, They Explored The Moon – continuing Herge’s fascination with moon travel. Herge attained international fame for his comic book series; The Adventures Of Tintin which featured the character of Tintin and his dog Snowy solving mysteries around the world.
Herge pioneered the Ligne Claire style of drawing featuring straight lines, strong colours, and downplayed contrast among other things.
One of the most influential artists and comic book writers, Herge was known for conducting extensive research in his works. The Herge Museum in Belgium is dedicated to him and was built in 2009. He was born in 1907 in Brussels and died in 1983 after suffering for a long time from a mysterious disease.
