I read Rashmi Bansal's Book.
I was impressed by the articulate author, who made the book very very readable and interesting.
The Achievers the real Heros of the Book are the

Himesh DwivediRashmi Bansal – the author of STAY HUNGRY STAY FOOLISH ( SHSF ) this time compiles a collection of hugely entrepreneurial guys ( mostly young ) who have made a success in-spite of no management education. Connecting the DOTS is about such inspiring 20 entrepreneurs- which in Rashmi’s words have been able to find their own path- connected their dotsJust finished another great writing from the author. Like her previous book this book is also a collection of enterprenur from India. This book lays emphasis on small enterprenur of India who were nothing in their past but today they are making headlines of newspaper and TV. Its really interesting to know about the life of a businessman, to know how they have reached the summit of success. It also encourages us. If you are into a biz of yours it will be really helpful to you. Really its an another masterpiece of the author.
PS: Thanx a ton to infibeam without which it was impossible for me to get a author signed copy of this book.I picked up the book just because Steve Jobs in one of his talks at Stanford mentioned about the connecting the (his) dots which in isolation looked irrelavent but at some point in futire made good sense (something like "the hand of god" of Maradona). And I am not disappointed.
I haven't read the whole of it but am tempted to write about this easy to read with useful insights into the success of each entrepreneur. With the Hindi intermixed with Angreji (not English on purpose) it makes the book "real" and the writing is simple that it gives a feeling that you were discussing with the entrepreneur themselves.
Should read (in my opinion). BTW, spotted a typo "fo" for "of" ... not sure how this missed the spell check!I am writing this review, purely out of gratittude I have for both this website and the author.
Let me first start with the website. I have been a customer of Infibeam, for a while now. Every single purchase has been fast and awesome. Not only the price tags but also the packaging and the shipment has been in an amazing shape. All this with jaw-dropping discounts. Specially, the packaging is so good, that I had tough time opening it myself ;), Books were in top condition and properly wrapped in a polythene covering. And not to mention that I live in a remote area called Dahanu Road (Without any courier service covergae), even then the service was fast, amazingly fast!
I highly recommend this website. And this time, I received books, with Author's autographs! Wow!!
Now let me talk about the Author. Rashmi Bansal, which isn't a common name anymore. Her first title was inspiring and moving. Well, this one goes a little beyond, where the first one ended. This one inspires even more, starts off with story behind Dosa Plaza, a true rags-to-riches story. This book makes an interesting and influencing read, both at the same time.
Thank you Infibeam! Long Live Infibeam !!
Thank you Rashmi Bansal! Long Live Rashmi Bansal!!

Dahanu RoadGO FOR IT AND A MUST FOR ENTREPRENEURS AND A WONDERFUL INSPIRATIONAL LIFE VIEW OF SOME NON MBAIf you have some great business plans but have so far been de-motivated by the lack of educational training, then its time to 'connect the dots' and come a full circle. Yes! You could still be an entrepreneur and be the best at it, if you are equipped with great dreams. The book narrates stories of Kunwer Sachdev founder of Su Kam , R Sriram, Founder, Crossword bookstore and Satyajit Singh, Founder, Shakti Sudha Industries to name a few. Read "CONNECT THE DOTS" and get inspired. I did!The entrepreneurship fad is spreading at an alarming rate in India, and who better than the graduates from elite management institutes to stand testimony to the trend?
"CONNECT THE DOTS" is one such inspirational read from the author of "Stay hungry Stay foolish". The book is inspirational and does its bit in igniting minds that are hungry for entrepreneurship.
With "CONNECT THE DOTS" the author has attempted to bring out another dimension to entrepreneurship- the motivational aspect. Motivation is a major driving force for all entrepreneurs. The author disseminates that b school degrees is not the only requisite for setting up empires. The theme should appeal to a majority of Indians that have started out on their own and are doing phenomenally well (which includes a majority of entrepreneurs in India and worldwide).
Her previous book was on entrepreneurs that were armored with an MBA, and her latest, speaks about the achievements of people powered with big dreams. These people are no IIM graduates and have no formal training in business management. Yet, they scale great heights monetarily and otherwise. The book narrates the achievements of ordinary people like Kunwer Sachdev, founder, Su Kam, Ganesh Ram, founder of Veta and others, with extra ordinary dreams.
I am one of the early readers that bought the book at the lowest price, from Infibeam.com. They delivered the book the very next day of my placing the order. The packaging was superb and overall it was a great reading experience too. Kudos to the author as well as my price conscious and effective buy!
