Ordered the Dell Inspiron 1525 6 Cell battery. As usual the Flipkart service was awesome.
Checked the battery inside out and it's genuine. No worries.
It is manufactured in Korea and imported by DELL India, Varthur, Bangalore.

I had read in some review that u need to buy a 90w adapter to use this battery, NO, it works better with the same 65w adapter which we are already using, so no need to worry to invest on another new product, just go for it....

Straight forward review:
Pros-
1. affordable
2. T7250 processor goes 2.6+ hrs at stretch with this baby
Cons-
1. 48WHr, whereas original 6 cell was 56WHr
2. I was not expecting this, but battery indicator LED do not blink 'red' before it's gonna die.. The original battery had this useful visual warning system
Overall, its great! Dell sells 56WHr ones @ INR 5k+!!
I almost planned to teardown my lappie to photoframe, but this little investment costed Asus one unit of Eeepc :P
CONCERN - No return information for the old 'used' battery..

the product seemed to be good when online , but in reality its not recommended to buy the product ass the battery drains out on 1:30 or 1:45 , also the sustainability is low. Absolutely a BIG "NO" for buyers , I think the seller has given a duplicate product.DO NOT BUY THIS

Will work fine for about 2 to 3 weeks then it will start showing problems.I used this product continuously for 10 to 15 days and then I left my laptop aside for some time. Now I again started using it and all of a sudden it has started showing problems.

the product works fine, packaging was great.went through a number of options before i ordered this onei get a backup of 2 hours on a full charge.its a better alternative to those who do not want to spend 6k on a battery.how long it works like that ?only time could tell.

I bought this on 15-07-2015 and so I am writing this review nearly after 2 years. I tell this product surprised me. Initially I was thinking it be duplicate one, so was very suspicious about it. I checked in market it was around Rs.2800-3500 but found here in only Rs.1500. Got the product in a very good original dell packing, back was around 1.30-2 hours (its approximately as I didn't checked accurately) if you watch a movie continuously after full charging. Still I don't see a very bad backup. I am using the same and hope it continues endlessly. So, I will strongly recommend it, pls go for it.
