The cooler is good for small halls and medium sized rooms. All the stuff about 800 sq ft cooling and air throw distance is just nonsense. The air goes about 10 ft, and that is the cooling area too. But the cooling effect is quite good as the pads are thick. However the construction is faulty. The drain plug at the bottom does not fit properly and once you open it to drain and then put it back, it starts leaking water. There are six screws on each of the sides (which have the cooling pads) so opening up the cooler is a big hassle. The screws have been just screwed into the plastic of the body, as you would put a nail, and some of them do not go in straight. The plastic behind the cooling pads is uneven with jagged edges, and the side does not fit properly. Also I have yet to find a pipe or a connecting plug that can go into the auto-cut water inlet at the side. so far it is useless. The wheels at the bottom are good and strong and moving the cooler even when it is slightly filled with water is easy (though you should remove all water before moving it). The fan is noisy, but it seems to be a common problem with other coolers too. And the automatic sideways air deflector is erratic, it works sometimes and sometimes does not work. I registered my complaint with khaitan a few days ago, but no one has turned up yet. So the service really sucks. If I had not found a temporary way to close the plug at the bottom then the cooler would have been unusable.
