I purchased the laptop 7 months back. After two months the 'h' key stopped working and the service guys kept it with them for a month citing spare part availability. Again after using it for 1 month the same issue appeared and again 15-20 days they took for repair. Over the period of time I have lost faith in apple products and service. Recently all front speakers also stopped working and I was like wtf did I end up buying. I'm not sure if this is some defective duplicate machine as it heats a lot and has been giving me lots of issues. I recommend not spend 2 lac on this stupid machine.

Macbook pro is a very powerful laptop the thing that is the ssd and the thunderbolt port and touchbar that you get and if you do stuff like video and photo editing this is definitely for you. apple has improved the battery life which is good and the screen is nice and if you can afford this device then go for it.

The Best Laptop for professionals. First of All lets talk about design and Apple is King the machining of aluminium chassy and build quality is awesome. Display is even awesome with wide P3 colour gamut for content creators its really really awesome the keyboard on this laptop is okay there is not lot of travel but one you get used to it you will enjoy it. Next the trackpad man its huge when i first saw the trackpad my eyes just popped out. Its so huge that my phone with 5.7 inch easily fits in it and still have some room. Its HUGE but trackpad is awesome force touch works insanely good and clicks feels nice and touch response with Mac optimisations makes it best trackpad on any laptop. And now lets talk about the elephant in the room,the touch bar its good but not best it’s useful for things like scrubbing through videos and final cut pro timeline but sometimes its not that intuitive. It changes with each app making it little complicated its not a necessary but something is better than nothing. Performance of this thing is stupid fast 4K video editing is butter. Using After effects was little painful since it kicked fans to max and throttled cpu little bit.But don’t expect playing games on this thing its playable playing ROCKET League from Steam was good was able to get avg of 45-50Fps in 1080p with high settings. But No one buys Mac for gaming so thats okay!The review will be big if i keep talking,everything is good except for the price and i/o. I bought this laptop from Dubai which was custom configuration of 1TB and Radeon 560 graphics which cost me about 2.3lakh RS. comparing with indian top end model you get half the storage and mostly with 460 graphics so its priced very high in india. And another con of this laptop is I/O it have just 4 thunderbolt 3 ports with USB C form factor its future proof but for now you need lot of adapters to connect your current devices i got Satechi Usb C hub which had all the necessary ports but it will cost you extra. And this elegant looking machine turns into a octopus. So thats the biggest issue with this laptop and bonus the battery life on this is fairly good it depends on your work load for normal things like web browsing and documents it will go beyond 10HRS mark but for intensive tasks like Video editing in FCPX or Using After effects it will last you around 3-4hrs and yeah thats been it i hope this review will help you make your purchase decision...Happy Shopping
