Very quiet, very less sound than mixer (for sound of the grinder, check video attached with this review) Surprisingly, rice batter will not get hot like in mixer, almost closer to normal manual stone grinder (traditional one) For dosa, 1 kg rice will take 20 minutes to grind For idli, 1 kg rice takes around 15 minutes time to grind For idli, 300 grams urad dal (Split black lentils, Black gram dal) takes another 20 minutes Rice and urad dal you have to grind separately, then mix it outside.?We bought this in a local market for Rs 5,600 with 2 Years warranty.
