I trust APC from my past usage, and went for this model in new homeFew things went bad in purchase.- Power backup on 100% charge will be 240 minutes only, and even that will discharge to 0 even if no device is connected.- After 1. year, power backup shown was reduced to 65 minutes, and it stopped working at end of 2years- Warranty showed as 3 years, but APC customer support said only 2 years max.

Not worth for the money.Using it for 2 years, and already replaced the battery 3 times.Even they claim that they replaced with a new battery, you won't get good backup. I am getting the backup of 20-30 minutes max,and the executives will say this is good enough and this UPS is not meant for longer backup.Now I made them replace my UPS due to this low backup and the executives brought a UPS which is faulty claiming that it has new battery.But the battery indicator will go down from 5 bars to 2 bars in 2 minutes and now I calling them daily to get this replaced with another.2 year warranty only : 3 year warranty is a myth.

First impression on unboxing was the poor build quality. The plastic enclosure creaks and strains as you life it out of the box. Plugged it in and that god awful fan spooled up. In a UPS at this price point you've every right expect good design and the choice of that low diameter high RPM fan alone is reason enough to not buy this for home use at least.The unit I received is also faulty even though the attached QA report declared everything to be passing. Battery ran out in 25 minutes with 0 load (all connected systems powered off, 0 W on UPS load indicator). Battery supposedly charged from 0 to 100 in 40 minutes which is also dubious. There are also grounding issues with this unit, there is electricity leakage on all metal parts of my PC, including keyboard chassis. Might be a warranty replacement would've fixed these issues, but it feels like a terrible product generally so I'm opting to get rid of it.APC customer service is also lack general awareness about retailers and the fact that Amazon doesn't accept returns of UPSes etc. and were utterly unhelpful.Been trying to put up with it for a week, but the cacophony of that fan is enough to drive a person mad. Amazon's customer support and delivery service has been fantastic as usual, but would not recommend this product to anyone I don't hate.

Had bought this and one more APC product together. Other one failed to run but APC support guys fixed it immediately upon calling.This worked out of box. Just that post discharge the fan runs on higher rpms during its recharge cycle. some people might not like it. "He is not quite on table" ;)Connected to PC. Good backup. Good protection for electrical equipments. APC reaponse to customer was good.

It has a good built with LCD panel on front shows the load on UPS,Input Voltage ,Frequency and few more things. You can silence the UPS beeping . It has 3 powersurge and 3 battery backing sockets on back. It uses round triple pin plugs on back and its plug is also same. Got charged quickly . Haven't tested it out yet but I believe it will be doing the job it is supposed to do. The front panel in center though is not very well finished towards the bottom. The battery pack which I didn't buy at this moment is also almost the same price as a UPS. I think it might have double the amount of battery in this.
