+s;1.Loooks good2.Set up completed like a charmSuper fast3.Shows which all devices are connected4.Gives option to prioritise bandwith between devicesAllows devices to be blocked5.The wifi app of google is easy to use and has good interface and you can control your home devices connected through your home wifi from your office/any place outside your home-ves;1.The connectivity strength has increased only marginallyI used to get around 50%signal on my ps4 in the drawing room earlier and now post migrating to google wifi am getting 60%2.Few of my devices still have access to my basic router and if some hacker wants to hack they can still do it by logging through my basis router/isp router (the one to which my google router is attached through ethernet)In fact few of my devices can still access my old router and gets connectes to it3.Devices connected to isp router are out of track in the google wifi app and hence you wont be able to identify thoseSpeed of connectivity - whether it has increased or not am not sure

This is for those who need headache free setup without getting into the technical details.Advance users who are looking for tweaking the parameters should stay away from this router.Setup was less than 5 min, (for one wifi point). The single wifi point easily covered my 1000 Sqft apartment.Wifi speeds of 100mbps on 2.4Ghz band and 300mbps on 5Ghx Band achievable. Which was far better than the earlier router i had.note: I used app on my device to see the wifi band it was connected to, the google wifi point does not show band info.The setup needs the google wifi app. IOS app not available in India App store; however android play store has the app and this is the only option for India users. Interesting feature is that you can use the app remotely when away from the router location, to monitor & administer the router.The power consumption is 9W (claimed; i had no way to verify) ; becomes important if you tend to leave the router on for extended period.Overall very pleased with the simple setup and improved wifi speed; exactly what i was looking for.
