With Jio services - might not be a perfect choice
By Anoop T.on
Many would be buying this to get connectivity in remote areas using 4G/3G wireless broadband. Before doing so, please do research on the frequency bands used by your service provider and the device you will be using.Reliance Jio uses Bands 3(1800MHz FDD), 5(850MHz FDD) and 40(2300MHz TDD). Band 40 provides better bandwidth and band 5 provides coverage in remote/rural areas as well as indoors where higher frequency signals cannot penetrate.Unfortunately, MR200 does not support Band 5, and that means poor 4G coverage when using Reliance Jio indoors with this device. Someone mentioned JioFi device heats up on extended usage and battery bulge happened. To avoid these problems, the JioFi device can be run without the battery. And it supports the three frequency bands supported by Jio as well. So if you are buying this device for Jio services, please check feasibility before putting your money on this.
Supports failover mode only. No Load balancing.

Would have been more usefull if the router supports Load Balancing mode using the 3G/4G dongle. Supports only Failover mode. Otherwise, it is comparable to Dlink DWR 116. Detected all my dongles (iBall 3.5 Connect, Huawei E3372 and Micromax 444L).
Good product with some issues

Works goodI used to have d link dir-605 2.4 ghz router for 4 years.for my 100mbps connection of ACT in hyderabad, i used to get only 50 mbps.Did my reasearch i found out that i need to upgrade my router to dual band router with both 2.4ghz and 5 ghz bandsSo, i finalized this router with lot of research and here is my experience.1. Now i am getting upto 94 mbps on 5 ghz band for my 100mbps connection2. If you are behind 1 wall then the signal for 5ghz falls down to towers and falls considerable in bathroom. Signal for 2.4 ghz remained same as before as with d link router, Definitely better than 5 ghz band3. Its a little costly at 2700 Rs.4. It is better than the 5 antenna model tp link C6 AC 1350 router.. As this has 3 antenna with both bands 2.4ghz and 5 ghz.. However c60 ac 1350 has 2 antenna of 5 ghz and 3 antennas of 2.4 ghz. Hence it can be derived that mr 3620 will have better coverage with 5 hz than c60 ac1350 model.5. Speeds in 2.4 ghz band has increwswd to upto 70 mbps with thia model over d link dir 605.Overall happy with performance as my house is only 1100sqft with 2 bedrooms.
Its a nice router!!

The router was easy to install and has good features too! Speed and range both are excellent!i have installed it in one corner of the house and its covering my 1200 sq feet house from there! Happy with the performance
Good speed, Dual Band works fine, Medium range

Pros:1. Dual band works fantastic. It beams on two channels 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz simultaneously. I have connect my Amazon Stick to 5Gh and other devices to 2.4 Gh. Speed is swesome. I have a 75Mbps BB connection and get complete 75Mbps on SpeedTest.net. However, I have seen that if one device pulls more bandwidth on one Band e.g. 5ghz, internet speed on other devices even though connected on other Band e.g. 2.4Ghz gets impacted a bit. i was hoping that there would be some limiter on each of the bands.2. Within the apartment, I get good range.3. The UI is intuitive. You can limit net speed for specific devices.4. No interruption of signal even on heavy load from multiple devices.5. Have not restarted the router since I bought it. (Otherwise, usually the routers needs to be restarted every 5-8 days to revise its routing tables)Cons:1. Range of the router is good within the flat. However, it does not have a good range. As soon as you come out of the apartment, signal is completely lost. I has a Dlink router previously, which has better range. All in all, a great router.
