I got this on time, thanks to snapdeal, but the issue is cover aria very poor, manufacturer telling 100 meters but I am not getting 50 meters even less than 50 meters.
So please Think before buying.
Great product to rescue you.

Jabardast range for a very small product. I bought this to extend my existing wifi. And it serves the purpose very smoothly.
More thanbexpected

The delivery was made within the next day which bwad delightful. The product is simply superb. I have not done any configuration to use with my fibernet. Just plugged in the device in the AC out let and plugged the fibernet RJ45 socket. Voilà the wireless was active in my devices, windows, iOS and Android devices without any configuration. The range also be a decent. The price at Snapdeal was the least as far as I know.
Awesome quality product

Stops Working after a few months of constant use
By Anirudh Narayanon
I bought this product a year back, initially it was perfect so I bought 2 more one each for my parents and in laws, now its causing problems in all 3 houses. The connection with the main router frequently drops and it has to be switched off for atleast a day for it to start working again. My guess is one of the components heats up and expands causing it to malfunction.I am now so Frustrated with this extender I am buying a netgear range extender.
Never buy this

After spending 2-3 days in order to setup this repeater, it ended up in complete failure. Doesnt perform the task of what it is supposed to which is to extend the range of your Wi-Fi signal. Now I am using it as mobile charger by connecting to USB port. Too expensive for a mobile charger :)
Customer support is almost non-existent and manual provided for setup doesnt help at all. I would rather suggest people to go for Wireless Router without Modem which should do the trick of extending wireless signal.
I didnt buy this product from flipkart
Excellent Router
By Rajesh Yelurion
I bought this product to boost the signal of Cisco Valet M10 Also to use DLINK as a stand alone DSL router .
Well I have to admit this router solves the purpose... I use this as a standalone wi-fi router in my 1100sft apartment and the signal is good in all the rooms ...
Pros :
1) Router Mode : You can setup WI-FI connection in less than 15 minutes and save the config settings so that next time you comeback to Router mode you can directly use the pre-configured settings by just importing the config file.
2) Repeater Mode : This mode can be used to boost the signal of your existing wi-fi however the encryption can only be WPA .. does nt support WPA2
3) wi-fi mode: You can set up your own wi-fi hot spot
4) Works continuously with no intermittent issues.. Tested a download of 10GB and worked like a charm overnight.. No drop in signal.
( You have upgrade firmware and ensure no interference device near to the router )
5) Most importantly this is Portable , you can carry to any place and setup a connection or boost the signals in the hotel for you.
6) USB slot to stream data from storage devices..
7) You can even use the USB to charge your smartphone.
8) Ethernet port RJ-45 available to connect your Modem / Ethernet cable direct to the Router
9) Default wi-fi setup is available to configure for the first time ( after every reset so ensure you dont loose those credentials card)
10 ) Amazing quality and build.. tested with 3 smartphones and 2 laptops .. works good..
Cons :
1) You have to upgrade the firmware from 1.3 to 1.6
2) The USB streaming is good enough for pictures but not so good when it comes to streaming of videos..
3) Besides the app that supports the USB is only available in iOS and Android market.. no support for windows / BB platform
5 star Although its Limited USB streaming functionality because that was never in my checklist whilst buying a router.. infact that was a bonus..
Cheers!
Awesome Device But only for Apple EcoSystem as per my initial review
By Abhilash Peteron
This is a wonderful device for the price we pay for. A nearest competitor to provide the features of this device would be a double in cost and size. I purchased this device with sole intention of streaming media for my iPad due to its limited storage space. I have tested this device with iPad (IOS) and Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (Android). However I faced lot of issues with very minimal results when this was paired with Android. However the results were simply awesome when paired with iPad. I could stream a Full HD 1080 movie without any lag or delay. The same goes with high resolution pictures, MS Office files, etc. Heavy PDF files may not work smoothly as it needs to be downloaded completely before it displays the content. So I don't advocate this for streaming PDFs which are in excess of 10 MB. I strongly advice anyone who buys this device to upgrade the firmware from 1.03 or lesser to 1.06 which is available from DLink US website. Also download DLink Shareport mobile app from iTunes.
Pros:-
1. The best wireless media sharing device for Apple Devices.
2. Very compact and light weight (double the size of a normal mobile charging adapter)
3. Its a great bargain for the price and unbeatable time in delivery by Flipkart.
4. Seamless support for HD 1080 videos, MS Office & Mac files
Cons:-
1. Very minimal success when paired to any Android device.
2. Difficult to configure at the first instance unless you upgrade the firmware to 1.06
3. Large PDF files will take an eternity to open
4. Video playback supports only Mp4 & Mov (Good enough for iPad but could have been better)
Devices used in this review: DLink 505, Apple iPad (3rd Gen), Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and 16 GB Pen Drive by HP. It supports up till 2 TB external hard drive and will update my review once I have results after my test.
Overall a fantastic product for anyone who thought they would require more storage space in their Apple devices and this is the best way to complement your iPad or iPhone. There are tons of other features in this device which I don't intend to use like N150 WiFi Router, Repeater and can be used as a stand alone charger for any device which can be charged via USB. I am giving it a 4 Star because of the Android glitch. I hope Dlink rectify this issue and this becomes a quintessential gadget for any phones or tablets out there.
This was a savior

Unreliable cable internet connection prompted me to buy this device. I got a 3G dongle that provided both Wifi and Modem connections. However, my office laptop wasn't enabled to accept Wi-fi or even USB. So, to make this work, I had to find a device that could take the Wi-fi signal and convert it to a wired network connection. I searched a lot but most said this wasn't possible. Enter the D-Link DIR-505. I noticed that it has a 'repeater' mode and also a Ethernet port that accepted the usual RJ45 cables. So, once I got the device, I set it up in 'Repeater' mode to 'catch' the Wi-fi signal transmitted by the 3G dongle (connected to a USB hub to the main switch board, thereby relieving USB ports on my other system - otherwise I'd have to keep the other computer running just to keep the dongle alive) and then connected a normal ethernet cable to my work laptop. Voila! My work laptop got an wired internet connection via 'repeater' mode from my 3G dongle now. And I could finally concentrate on more important things like the ongoing FIFA world cup matches :)
