I ordered this straightner yesterday nd it was delivered 2day..gr8 service by Flipkart!!! this straightner is very nice..d only disadvantage tht i found is tht it doesnt have ne temperature control..so if u dont pay attention u mite burn ur hair..other than tht its a piece of cake 4 those who love straight nd smooth hair

Greetings! I purchased this product from Flipkart, for my sister and this is HER REVIEW for the product: 1. Very happy that the product reached me in LESS THAN 24 HOURS. Thank you Flipkart and WS Sellers. I loved how they had CAREFULLY PACKED the product ensuring that no damage occurs to the product during delivery (The straightener inside its box PLUS another bigger sized box with cushion balloons for shock absorption). 2. Now, coming to the product: It does as it claims. I have moderately thick hair, medium length. I loved how it is so SIMPLE TO OPERATE. Unlock, power on and begin. If you know how to straighten your hair, by dividing them into sections, it gives GREAT RESULTS. However, if you take too much of strands at once you may not achieve the desired results. Because my hair is almost straight (slight wave that you can only see when you look clearly), it was easy to get POKER STRAIGHT hair. Although I must mention that I did not see the shine factor here that they claim, but yes the SMOOTH FINISH is something I loved. (I'll look for the shine once I use it post a hair wash). 3. I've seen reviews where people are disturbed by the NOISE/SOUND. Don't worry, it's mentioned on the Instruction manual that since it uses negative ion technology, the little noise that it generates is okay. I heard it too but its not loud or disturbing. The plate area gets HEATED, that's normal with any hair straightener. The heat does not get transmitted to the handle part so don't worry. P.S. - Always read the Instruction Manual before using the product. 4. TEMPERATURE CONTROL does not exist. But, it doesn't seem like it's needed. Because the heat is just adequate I believe. However make sure you don't apply it on the same strand for too long. Any straightener can burn your hair that way. 5. How could I forget, the DESIGN is lovely. I loved the PURPLE COLOURED PLATES on a Black Base. What's more, due to it's SMALL SIZE & LOCK PLATES option, it's travel friendly. The CORD is pretty thick and durable, though I'd love it if it was a bit longer. And and and, did I mention it uses the UNIVERSAL VOLTAGE? Well, I emphasise that now. 6. Besides, I'm not sure why but my hair smells so good after using the straightener. It's mentioned on the Manual that it does release some MILD FRAGRANCE. Of course it's not overpowering. Can't decide if it's my conditioner or the straightener, but I'm happy about it! I am Loving this product. I've used a straightener each from Nova & Braun before, and Braun remains the best till date. However, I will re-write my review once I use the straightener on my freshly washed hair. But, I assure you, you won't be disappointed with this product! Have a Happy Hair Day People! :) EDIT: I used it on my Mom's hair. She has thin, frizzy, wavy and dry-rough hair. Her hair were EFFECTIVELY STRAIGHTENED & SHINED, NO FRIZZ, NO FLY AWAYS, NO THINNING. And the straightening lasted for about 24 hrs very easily on her hair. That's THE-LONGEST-EVER and the BEST that I have seen on her hair since she uses the hair products that I use. All in all, I'M LOVIN' IT! :) (Deducting one star only for lack of temperature control & short length of cord as per my convenience.)

This product is amazing and it would give the silk and smooth touch to your hair. I was looking for a straightener for a quite a long time and i must say it was worth waiting for this one. My hair texture is very wavy and thick and this straightener makes your hair so manageable that you would love this. And one thing i want to mention here that "FlipKart" is having the best world delivery system, i have placed the order yesterday and i received in one day :) Thank you so much. Now i can also have manageable hair.

I've just bought this product and it is working very well. I have wavy hair, and i've used this straightner thrice so far. with the right hair products, it has given good results. Although i would want to mention here that this straightner does not have Temperature Control. It reaches a good level of heat but and if u have long, thick hair u might want to switch it off in the middle of straightening to protect ur hair and the product as well from over heating. I will get back to u after having used it for a substantial period. Good Luck!

I love phillips products, I am using their hair straightener for 7 years, my last one died 2 months ago, I have used it for 6 years, never failed me. Then I ordered this one hoping its going to be as same as the old one. It did not disappoint me. I am loving it. It gives smooth finish and good straightening. I love pin straight hair so it does the job for me. But the only con is that the straightener makes a buzzing sound, at first I thought its a problem, but then I found that ion active products r supposed to make that mild buzzing noise. Its totally normal. It has got purple ceramic plate, pretty colorful than the golden one I used to have (which I found pretty boring). Overall I am happy with it. You can try it I will recommend it. And I will be repurchasing phillips products in future. I was a little doubtful about buying a straightener as i have never owned one. So i researched quite a bit and found this one from philips and it's perfect! It has the perfect plate size which can be used to straighten as well as create curls. It got delivered yesterday and we tried straightening as well as curling, and it totally worked! Just search youtube for the right techniques. It doesn't need any hairspray either, even to hold the curls :D and the style lasts till the next wash. The curls loosened a bit after I slept in, but it still looks pretty! <3

Coming to the product it a great one especially for beginners.I have semi straight hair, it did do a great job straightening it and adds little shine.Only problem I found was when it gets too hot I need to turn off & turn on which I found a little tedious.Also the product box doesn't come sealed(suspicious).Overall it's a great product and I am happy with it. Go for it if you are planning to buy this.
