I've gone through some of the reviews, and could find many are facing connection problem.. There's nothing wrong with this device, basically all the bluetooth devices have this problem.. By default OS powers off this device to save power of your system.. To sort out the problem you'll have to disable the feature, go to "DeviceManager > Bluetooth > Bluetooth USB Module > Properties > Power Management >" and untick "allow computer to power off this device to save power" feature..

Dear All, I ordered this mouse last week (Wednesady) and it reached me promptly this Monday (great delivery once again by Flipkart - hats off to that). However this mouse has proven to be a menace, ever since. It exactly has this problem mentioned on Logitech's support link. (Just search for "M557 mouse is not working or frequently stops working". Too bad, I should have searched the reviews before buying!!! I was in such a hurry!!!) The issue is that it stops working altogether in between - that is the mouse cursor does not respond to moves, click etc. The solution is to remove it from Bluetooth devices and add again. And most of the time, this does not work - you will have to restart your machine. Today I encountered another problem which is due to some reason, the touch pad mouse in my laptop also stopped working. This was solved once again, only after removing the mouse from Bluetooth Devices and then restarting the machine. I am using Windows 7 64 Bit OS. Nice mouse.. Compact but fits in perfectly for long duration. Doesn't leave cramps on the fingers or above. Clicks give a nice feedback. Scroll wheel is smooth. With the set point tool u'll get lot of customizable gestures. The best part is its bluetooth, so saves a USB port. Overall a good buy. Highly recommended.

As some users have mentioned it has an issue with getting disconnected all in the middle. I keep my laptop on for weekdays in sleep mode and many a times the mouse disconnects. I have to remove - add the Bluetooth device again. May be it's an issue with the firmware etc. The response of the mouse is fine. It just dismantles very easily if it falls from 3-4 feet. So be careful when you use it. For ordinary purpose its fine.

I wanted to connect my win 8 tablet to my TV. Once that was done I wanted a mouse that could work from far (TV viewing distance) . This thing connects fast and works like a charm. But there is a little lag sometimes or gets stuck sometimes (just 1's or 2's). the biggest advantage is its battery life, configuration of its buttons the way you want it and long distance

Product by Brand itself is very good. using Bluetooth feature for connecting & communicate, save 1 more USB slot on notebook. however, has to learn and get use to with the new way to use this kind of mouse, as function would not response if we only click the button, but we have to make the mouse move so system will response
