Four months, and its over
By Mainak Choudhurion
Bought this on 16th Nov, 2011. Within 4 months the left button starts to behave erraticaly - cannot select, double click on single clicking etc. May be that I have got a lemon, but recently noticed the same trend on other other entry level logitech mouse as well; this was my second logitech mouse in that year. May be it is time to chage the brand.
Flipkart service is good as always.
Don't waste your money. This is a lemon.

I ignored the negative reviews and decided to buy it because it was a "Logitech". And I've had a good run with them. (And unlike a lot of people I know, I don't abuse my keyboards and mice.)
Within a few months the left button started misbehaving, it would send a double click when I only clicked once. I stuck with it for a while since I mostly use the keyboard but over time it became progressively worse.. it started sending multiple clicks I noticed as much as 7 mouse press/release events for a single click while testing and when you while clicking and dragging it randomly sends a steady stream of clicks.
I've been never had a mouse fail on me in over 15 years. The only reason I have replaced a mouse until now is because the technology improved or I just got tired of using the same mouse for so many years.
And another friend of mine too has had the same problem. (And a lot of other reviewers on this page too.)
TL;DR; Absolutely crappy build quality. Don't waste your money on it.
Button stopped working
By Vishal Bondwalon
I bought this mouse in April 2012, 4 months ago, and usage has been normal (i.e. emails & office work, not heavy gaming). The mouse is ergonomic and inexpensive, and looks simple and elegant. However, the left button has started to double-click or lose the click randomly now. e.g. I would be dragging a folder somewhere, and it'll suddenly lose the 'hold' because the mouse has stopped sensing the left button press. Or I would click once on something and it would double-click, ending in unwanted executions of an application and other such behaviour.
I would not have written a negative review, but exactly the same thing happened with my previous mouse, which was also a Logitech. I've realized that there is no use buying the cheap variants from the large companies, because they are the same Chinese mass-manufactured products with different stickers. If you buy cheap, buy from any company. If you want the trust associated with a big brand, it's better to go for their premium products, where they take manufacturing and quality assurance seriously.
Did what it promised - but only for a while :-(

Point 1. Flipkart- I ordered this little rodent yesterday, July 11th @ 1:07PM and received the consignment earlier today (July 12th) @ 3:30 PM or thereabout. With receipt and all.
Just over 24 hours it took. And although it came in a scruffy and distinctly unattractive packaging, it was effectively secured from transit damages through a bubble wrap. I like.
The packaging, visually and aesthetically unattractive though it might have been, was exactly of the right size and the product was nicely secured within. This is necessary, 'cause under-filled boxes are likely to collapse, while overloaded ones may burst.
So Flipkart gets 9.5/10 for service - Half deducted for lack of finesse while packing :P (I'm allowed to be a tad nitpicky, ain't I)?
Point 2. Logitech- The mouse itself though is slightly disappointing by Logitech standards. The most used left button is not exactly soft touch and you really have to press it harder than you're used to on devices from other manufacturers thus far.
But I'm sure, this is a quirk on my particular piece unfortunately, and now, I'm stuck with it. It's nothing that you can't get used to, though.
Also, the center scroll button feels a tad flimsy and I hope that it holds up in the long run, 'cause that is exactly why I'm swapping out my current mouse - the scroll button on it doesn't work no more.
Logitech gets 5/10 and that's only because the thing works...And I hope that it continues to do so in the long run.
Lastly, I ordered this ahead of the M90 for 20 bucks more because of side scrolling. 1000 dpi tracking works just fine for my 1360x768 screen for basic non gaming needs.
***Updated 21/5/13: The left button started malfunctioning after a few months of usage - as many of the reviews rightly seem to suggest - but you can kinda' get around it by hitting/clicking it very hard a few times with your index finger. Repeating it once every few days seems to do the trick.
But even more worryingly, in under two years of usage, the middle click has stopped functioning completely even though the scrolling still works. For somebody who needs to use the middle click quite generously, this is a total catastrophe.
For such a major brand to put out products without the barest of bare minimum quality control, this is a massive fail.
P.S. - I bought the M100. Maybe the suffix "R" in this one denotes 'Rectified' or something. Maybe they've paid heed & rectified the issue(s), but don't know for sure.
Not as good as max reviewed
By Pulkit Bhardwajon
i had been using i ball with the laptop and this one dsnt even come close.
the left and right mouse button have little displacement to provide a positive feedback to the user about the click.
the sensitivity is ok.
scroll feels a bit too much on the friction side.
what i think is logitech products are expected to have some feel and look about them considering its reputation in the market.
and about flipkart service , do i need to say !
overall analysis: go for belkin or microsoft aerodynamic design if you want comfort . this is basically "jugaad"( timepass product).

Logitech Quality
By Pradeepon
I bought this mouse to replace my 7 year old Logitech wireless mouse(which still works flawlessly). I wanted a wired mouse for use with my desktop computer. The mouse works well so far. No complaints. Size is nice and big. I highly recommend this product if you want a reliable and budget-friendly mouse.EDIT:The right mouse button stopped working properly within a few months and does not work many times leading to frustration when playing games. Even for normal use it can be slightly annoying. I recommend spending more and buying a better quality Logitech mouse.
Slight issues after 9 months of usage
By Saurabhon
Amazon tells me I bought this in Dec 2017. It is now end of Aug 2018 -- so I have used this for approximately 9 months now.The mouse is large and worked flawlessly upto now. I was quite happy with it.However, recently it has developed a nagging issue that it stops being detected for a bit for 5-10 seconds in the middle once in a while. The mouse just freezes on the screen.I thought it was my computer -- but I faced the same issue on another computer as well. The mouse comes back online and works as well after -- but it is getting to be quite frustrating and hence looking to replace the mouse now.Very possible that it could be an issue with just my device. Overall great mouse and I am sad to replace it.
Easily the best most balanced desktop mouse available in India.
By Amit sharmaon
This is the best, most durable and active mouse for a regular desktop computer available in India.I have tried tens before settling on this one. Its perfect. Its well balanced, responsive and designed for really long use without tiring your palm or fingers.I have several desktops and they all use this same model and make of mouse. And if used with normal care, they last for years easily.Logitech is a well known and dependable company and as far as desktop mice are concerned, this model is the best.
Okay mouse for price. Better mouse out there for higher price.
By Jupiteron
For the price, I guess I can give it 4 stars but coming from a high end Microsoft mouse, I was a bit disappointed with this one. Feature that bugged me most is the middle click (scroll wheel click). It's terrible to say the least. It requires a very precise and hard click. I don't know if this is a manufacturer defect with my one or if it's the same for all. Another feature missing is accelerated scrolling which the Microsoft mouse had and also higher end Logitech mice have this as well. Final feature I don't like is the upper side portion of the mouse where your thumb and ring finger tips hold the mouse. A lot of 'ergonomic' mouse have this area curving inwards but with this mouse, it's curving outwards, the complete opposite of what your fingers need! Two things I liked about the mice. 1. Texture of the plastic, feels nice to touch. 2. The left and right clicking, it's not loud or hard like some mice.
No fuss, works well
By Abhijit Menon-Senon
I used this mouse for a couple of years. It worked reasonably well, but was not outstanding in any way (the buttons were a bit soft, but not annoyingly so). I like this more than the equivalently-priced Dell mice: it's a more comfortable fit for my hand, and it afford precise pointer control.
