BEAST WITH A BEAUTY!!! I bought this laptop from lenovo store and not from flipkart. There are not many reviews on flipkart for this laptop so maybe this one helps you in buying the laptop. Look & Feel: Just out of the box, u'l love the looks as it has a premium looks with metal body, silver colour and shine makes it amazing and with black keyboard. And the best part is its thickness. This laptop is so thin and light weight that u'll boast to everyone for this feature. Comparing to my old Vaio (2012 model) , total height of this laptop is nearly equal to ht. of base of my vaio. EDIT: Its not scratch-proof, so yeah scratches has started to appear on top cover and few on inner side. Display: 15.6" display with 1080p is surely an overkill but it doesn't means that it's a con in this laptop. Infact changing some display settings will give u best results and U'll surely love the display. Though my chrome tabs do look very small compared 768p resolution but when watching movies or playing games...Its really enjoyable. But I'll do mention that u may find brightness a little less as compared to VAIO laptops (Vaio is shit. Personally used it). Battery: On average battery lasts for 3-3.5 hours with wifi and movie playback and 4.5-5.5 hrs with wifi off. So overall a good battery backup and it's due to Haswell processors which are low power consuming processor. Never played games on battery. Performance: This is the key aspect to buy a laptop and this laptop is Beast in performance. Maybe 4GB graphic is just a public stunt to gather consumers attention but It certainly performs well with high end games. Currently, I'm playing AC Unity at 1080p with high settings and COD Ghost 1080p with max settings and no lag so far. Games Run smoothly without any problem. Aside of games, U wont find any lag in using the system but I do find boot time is little more( considering the specifications). SUGGESTION: Play game on 1366X768 resolution if experiencing any lag and I'm sure lag will be gone. Do change the resolution of game as well as ur pc for maximum Output Speaker Output: This is one of the best thing in the laptop. Amazing sound quality and reallllllyyyy loud. Dolby software with Lenovo one key theatre is cherry on the top. Watching movies, listening music and playing games is incredible because of high quality music output. Keyboard & Mouse: Both keyboard and mouse are really good though u may find some lag while using touchpad. Its noticeable but avoidable too. Also, personally I do feel that keyboard is little small coz many times I end up pressing num lock or = key instead of backspace and arrow up key instead shift key which is lil annoying. EDIT: touchpad lag is gone after some updates. One of the best thing was Adaptive keyboard i.e the F1-F12 keys are activated by pressing Fn keys which are rarely used and all volume keys, brightness and other function keys can be used directly just like any other key. And keyboard sound is present but very less which wont bother u much. Softwares: pre-installed: Windows 8.1 with some lenovo drivers. One key theater and Dolby Audio software are really good to use.Energy Manager App by lenovo is also very good for battery care purpose and Fan dust cleaning. Rest are office 365, mc livesafe antivirus all for 30 days and other few softwares. Customer Support: Many users ignore this point which leads them to a terrible experience. But trust me, lenovo support is by far the best support i had ever experienced. They're just a one call away and will solve your any query without procrastinating it. Briefing above points: Pro's: Professional looks with silver black combination. Display is good and sharp but some might feel 1080p useless. Battery is very good and charging time is less. Performance is amazing with no heating issues. Speaker output is superb with dolby sound and lenovo one key theater experience. Microphone quality is excellent. Really thin and light weight. Adaptive keyboard is great. Best Customer Support. Cons: Brightness is little low. Backlit keyboard is missing which is not expected in such segment. Power cord of Adapter is very small. It has only 1 USB 3.0 which is a major disappointment in this segment. 4GB gfx and 1080p might be an overkill for some users. Keyboard sound is very less but noticeable. Boot up time is lil more than expected. In the end, the laptop is far better in its pro's then cons and with 55k budget, its ultimate gaming laptop. Bought this laptop from Nearby Retailer. It comes with Genuine Windows 8.1 and Drivers are Given in separate partition (If you are going to format) Comes with Full HD screen, looks pretty good but not awesome. Screen Resolution 1920*1080 Most of the Games work fine with 1920*1080 resolution. But Unity works fine only in 1366*768 resolution. (Pirated Version without Patch) But there are no glitches and seems good. Lenovo Energy Manager App is Good move and has Dust cleaner wizard to remove dust in Cooler fan. Made of Metal body and the lid has metal finish (Not made of metal, just coating). Built in 8GB RAM, expandable upto 16 GB (1 Unused slot). Boot up time is less, which is not impressive with this configuration. Laptop doesn't heat much. And when comparing with old VAIO laptop ( VPCEG3AEN ), Its not heating at all. Touchpad and Keyboard is Good and Similar to other laptops, no stress given to ur fingers. Hard Disk Capacity 1 TB,which will 931.39 GB shown in ur Laptop. No issues for Now,Wil update, if there is a Problem.

It's been a couple of weeks since I've been using this laptop. I am quite satisfied with the product and highly recommend this to anyone who require a decent performance laptop in an affordable price. I have been using it for coding and graphic intensive games and the ride's been pretty smooth so far, no glitches. However, it does heat up a little during gaming but it's nothing major. I have been using a cooling pad from day 4 just to be on the safer side. -> It's surprisingly thin and sleek, and the FHD display is pretty impressive. -> It's not too heavy than most of its 15.6" counterparts. -> GT 840M is a decent graphics card and most recent games run with ease under medium/high settings in 1080p res. However, 4GB is an overkill and will not give better performance than a 2GB one. -> 8 GB of RAM is a necessity these days. -> i5 4210U is an okay-ish processor considering the RAM and gfx card which come with this laptop. -> It comes with Win 8.1 and even though I did not receive any Driver CD, I found all the drivers given in the hard drive. -> Battery Life is nothing exceptional. For me it does not matter that much. -> Comes with a Lenovo backpack (which is not that good) -> I also registered for one year warranty which comes free of cost. -> Viewing angle could have been better. -> It looks and feels very nice indeed. Overall, I am happy with it and am sure you'll like it too :)

Good for Video Editing. Writing the review after 4 months of Purchase. Flipkart: Ordered on 5th November 2014 Midnight, Expected Deliver Date was on 8th, but got delivered on 6th Evening. Flipkart processed and delivered my product very fast. About Lenovo Z50. Very neat and clean design, looks very excellent even to this day. Performance wise very fast with its 8GB Ram which can be expandable to 16GB. U Get full HD Display, 4GB graphic memory and i5 processor that's more than enough for Video editing, Games, Movies, Design and Development. Laptop bag quality - excellent, i use it very roughly still looks great and hold's my laptop very secure. Its been more than 4months so far no heating problem, battery backup 4 hours. Very silent doesn't make any noise even to this day. Excellent built quality, my laptop fell from two feet height on its edged but nothing happened. I have been using it in outdoors and so far not even cleaned once, yet it looks like brand new. Got invade by army of ants when i left a sweet in my bag unnoticed for two days , ants went inside the laptop still i used it within one hour all ants went out nothing happened to the laptop. Keyboard is very smooth and has new close (x) and Refresh Key. I choose Lenovo as they are rigid and long lasting.

I have purchased from WS Retail, bt now lenovo is denying me the Diwali offer saying that Flipkart purchase not valid. Even though its T&C says from WS retail from flipkart it valid. This is d only reason m regretting buying from Flipkart. Still in talk with lenovo about the same matter.. Porduct is awesome.

Got it for Rs 49,522. from seller Rocky marketing and also got 3years (1yr + 2yr bonus) extended warranty from lenovo though it was very tough to claim as u need to submit perfect documents and give them a follow up.(it was time taking).Looks:First thing is that unlike as shown in the picture the base of the laptop is black and rest everything is silver.Laptop has slim display which makes the laptop more slim, weight is just 2.4kg and overall i can say that it looks very premium.Coming to the build quality it is bang for the bucks u r paying. Its metallic except for the back of the display which seems to be made of plastic with metallic finish.Just the keyboard is little flimsy in center part but thts nt a big issue.i5-4210 processor,8gb DDR3 SODIMM RAM(requires low energy) 1chip ram(there are 2 ram slots and 1 is vacant for upgrade),4gb ddr3 nvidia 15s(840m) graphic card,15.6inch Full HD display(1920*1080),1tb hard drive,3usb ports(2 usb2.0 and 1 usb3.0) ,vga, hdmi, Lan, card reader, optical drive , kingston lock and a combo 3.5mm audio and mic jack.Performance:With great looks its also a great performer. Awesome laptop! I was searching for a budget laptop...under 55k and found this beauty for 53k. The specs blew me away. Although the 4GB graphics doesn't have much differwnce than the 2GB 840m...performance is still fabulous for a laptop at this price. I played all the AAA games like farcry 4, gta 5, NFS rivals and most of them are playable in high settings 1080p. Or if you want to tone down the resolution you can.increase the graphics settings . GTA 5 works butter smooth with very high settings. The laptop also looks fantastic and has a metallic finish . My only problems with the laptop are:Battery runs down real bad while gaming. Barely lasted for 1 and a half hours of far cry 4.The middle part of the keyboard is a bit flimsy, although not a major issue.The trackpad is unfit for gaming and provides average response. It gets stuck sometimes.Other than these issues which are relatively minor...this is the best laptop under 60k.GO FOR IT!!

I purchased this lappy in feb 2015, its been a year or so after buying this lappy i am writing this review. In a few months of purchase my motherboard fried and i had to call up the customer care who then replaced the motherboard under warranty. Lately when playing with my brother, there was a small accident and lappy slipped of my lap a bit but didnt fall. After putting it back in place i found the charging point unfunctional, so i checked it and its damaged upon further inspection.Thinking back being a previous HP owner and sick of the heating issues in HP, i opted for lenovo. But i couldnt believe after paying a whopping 55k lenovo sold me a plastic laptop. The thing is lenovo still follows its s***ty usb style fragile charging port which many other makers like DELL,ASUS have discarded. I am planning to sue lenovo for making s***ty chinese toys and naming the laptops. Would never buy a lenovo product again.

Ok guys Hardcore-gamer and programmer here. Here goes my review, Snapdeal delivered this product with in the expected and i am quite happy about it, though the battery was a bit damaged ( just a bend in the corner not a big deal.) Coming to the product very totally recommend. Pros : Sleek and looks perfect. Good for gaming played games like Dota2,Skyrim,ACBF,BF4 and they all worked fine. Battery is good, extreme gaming don't expect more than 1 hr and for entertainment like movies 3-4 hrs . Good Keyboard and touchpad . Full Hd Resolution. I wouldnt call it cons but a bit of limitations Low sound coz speakers are located at the bottom. Laptop lid is hard. For extreme games Try getting a coolpad if you are playing non-stop. Change global graphics to Nvidia. Make sure you update the Nvidia Drivers before you play (personally found a major update and features ) and change battery to performance (charger connected ). Overall this product suits me , not expecting good camera or sound but good performance and gaming.

I have been using this laptop from the past 1 year and I am very much satisfied with the laptop performance.Very Economical product for high graphic gaming. Battery usage time is average. All n all it is a best buy under this budget for these features which any other brand does not offer under this budget.
