I bought this after probing a lot of sites. I went with my instincts and ordered this. a free back pack was a surprise. glad to see i bought it when the price was low.
Laptop screen is very big - easy on the eyes
keyboard - keys do get pushed. Doesn't matter I think.
I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on it and it works flawlessly.
The Best part is - The laptop doesn't get heated quickly at all. It has side and bottom fans - so its always cool (was surprised at this feature since it wasn't mentioned in the site)
All in all a best Budget Laptop. Doesn't disappoint !

1)virtualization setting is not available in bios
--------solution available you need to update your bios from official site
--------updating bios will wipe all your data some time so please take backup
of your data before doing so . (please go through all the process on official site
Just search "lenovo g50-45 bios update" on google )
2) batty backup is low.
3) some time you feel that it is to big to carry.
4) installation of windows 7 is problem some time.
5) and developers(specially Mobile application developers) if you are planning buy this laptop don't go for it look for another option.

this laptop comes with driver cd for windows 8.1 64 bit is vary good thing

This is my 1st laptop.body is good, sound quality is also good, keyboard is not user friendly in my view because of only one reason which is that whenever you press a key keyboard layout or say body near the keys also pushed in or out.
remaining all things more than expectation in this price range. processing speed is better ta intel core i3 4th gen

I am writing this review after the heavy usage of 2 months.
I have not faced any problem in the product.
I have investigated the market for 15 days before buying this. But couldn't find the better product in the market in my budget.
Also, those who are thinking to buuy from the local shop at cheaper rate. My suggestion to them is "Dont waste your time, you will not get at cheaper prices thn flipkart"

AMD A8-6410 acc. to my knowledge and a bit research its definitely better than 4th gen i3 almost all variant and can be easily compared to 4th gen i5 so u can trust the processor.
------NO HEATING ISSUES------
+ Graphics
AMD integrated graphics are way to better than Intel. 512mb dedicated and 1.5gb integrated.Except for those gamer people it will be enough to play games and other stuff too.
+ Lenovo sound output can beat anyone.Awesome sound.
Acc to me these are the basic things people get confused with.
Unused ram slot is very useful. pre-installed win 8.1 is good. 1tb hard drive instead of 500gb was needed.
for around 24k price segment its the best choice.
people you can go for it.

I bought this notebook from a local store which costed me 1000 rs extra compared to Flipkart but i got branded Lenovo Bag, Mouse, Headphones, Screenguard & Keyboard cover as extra accessories from the retailer and I was in a huge doubt that, did i made a mistake of purchasing this laptop at such low price because for that price getting notebook was big thing & additional to machine, i got some accessories as well. Well i started using it. Wow.... what a machine it is! I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. Guys! these words are coming from a video editor who has spent 26000Rs just on i7 processor for his work. Though i can't recommend this laptop for heavy gaming like playing FarCry 4 or Call of duty in high settings. But it is very good choice for the people who do lot of multitasking or who handle excel jobs or run programs or who do hours of automations.
Best notebook... Value for money. Go for it blindly.. You won't regret it as i didn't have any issues till now. I believe issues bohoth duur ki baath hai with this laptop.
Please don't complain like, it doesn't have backlight or screen resolution is not that good. Dude if you have lot of money.. go & get i5 or i7 notebooks. Don't cry on such wonderful product. Guys, Don't spend your valuable money on i5 or i7 when your task can be handled in products which are less by 10 to 15K. Buy only when things demand, not just for the sake you have money :)

this is a gaming beast but to play high end games you require high RAM mine is 8gb but this laptop offers 4gb which is disappointing. and the space is also low by half but the price is low by 6000 means you can put 4gb more in that cost
