FHD IPS at this price is a steal deal !

Just received this earlier today, thanks flipkart for excellent service as always !
Few things that matter:
1] This particular model - 59-429729 - has a Full HD IPS panel with touch.
Full HD as in 1080p (1920x1080).
Just above it says 1366x768 but don't worry, this is indeed a FHD display.
2] Keyboard layout is exactly what I wanted so I am happy with it but its going to be a pain for big size palms. It will take some time to get used to.
Keyboard is backlit.
3] Ubuntu 14.04 is up and running fine :) (I installed it, laptop has windows 8.1)
1 star is missing from my ratings because of less RAM, could use 8GB be default, wouldn't mind paying for it :-)
Ideal for gaming

i have been using this laptop for few months. Here i have the summary about my experience with this laptop:
1) If you are a gamer go for it.
2) Sound is ok.
3) Doesnt heat(Lenovo has the best cooling system.)
4) Screen is full HD so it hhas nice display.
5) Perfect touch screen.
6) Flip mode is nice for gaming.
I am a software engineer and a gamer and recommend this laptop. Go for it.
good product

Bought this product from Flipkart. Got it a day before the expected delivery date. The product is good and stable, touch is nice as well, picture quality is brilliant. It start up and shut down time is extremely low, though I have not installed anything major on it yet.
The battery charges very quick and battery back up is great as well.

As usual Flipkart delivery was good. When i started the laptop for the first time..some how it was slow while browsing and the HD quality which is not upto the mark. I raised the same issue with Flipkart customer support. They tried to convince me that there shouldn't be any issue as such and provided steps to resolving the slowness. However after resetting the machine, it is working cool with out any issue. I also upgraded RAM with additional 8GB memory.
Now i can even install VM's for hadoop training and it is working good.
however the full HD quality is not that great.
So far So Good :-)

Brought the Lenovo flex 2 14 (59-429729) from exclusive store Jaipur in Jan 2015. Look is fine form outside grey color. inside is much better. I like that. screen is superb. touch is smooth. no heating. keypad and touchpad very good. performance is very good. though I haven't tested any high end game so far. I use it daily for at least 1 to 2 hours only. All the schemes offered by Lenovo like free extended warranty, free airtel 3g dongle, and a Lenovo smart phone offer. Lenovo has extended the warranty. I got the smartphone Lenovo A319 in Rs. 999.00. I refused the free airtel 3g dongle because it didn't want a postpaid connection. I hope this laptop deal turn out to be good in future.
VFM laptop with some compromises

Here are my experiences with the device:Pros:1. Nice Screen, Good viewing angles as expected on an IPS display.2. Good config, Fast applaunch times. I might upgrade the RAM to 8GB sometimes in the future.3. Keys are well spaced and have fair travel and feedback.4. Sturdy construction.Cons:1. Poor spacebar key, needs to be hit at the center for key press to be registered. This I have to get used to.2. Trackpad has keys built into it and hence there is some loss of accuracy, again have to get used to.3. Heats up a little, vents on the bottom.4. Sharp edges, not the lightest laptop in this size.5. Battery life on the lower side.Some people have complained of unresponsive trackpad. Pressing windows + p and selecting PC screen only might solve the issue.
Good choice for its price.

Pros:Very good laptop for its price(I got it for 43 kFull HD screen, very good for watching movies, imagesNvidia 820 m 2GB DDR3 graphics card that plays most 1, 2 years old pc games in low settings (do not expect high end games to played in low setting, they will not play,, for example, Wticher 3 wont play at all.)Volume is high and clearDue to 8 GB SSD, booting is fast, shutting down is fast.Overall looks goodBacklit keyboard lighting is excellent, press and hold Fn key and press Space key once to light up the keyboard in low light, press and hold Fn key and press Space key twice to light up the keyboard at max in full dark.Can be used the machine in laptop mode and stand mode as wellCons:Extremely reflective screen, impossible to watch or read on the screen under direct day light on the screen.Battery backup is just OK, 3 and half hours average backup on balance mode.keyboard keys are small and nasty to use, a few keys get pressed twice automatically even though you press just once. I replaced the keyboard and the problem persisted. As a result, you will end up correcting what you type.And be rest assured that there was no software , drivers,virus or liquid issues involved when I am sharing the keyboard experience. I googled and found many people facing the same issues with the keyboard.Overall, a good laptop for its price, you will not be disappointed if you are to choose a new laptop at below 45 k budget as you will not get a better choice than this at that price bracket.

Got this laptop at an excellent price (nearly 20% discount from the prices on other websites). Seller was 'Deal kya hai'. Fast delivery. And the laptop works great. I've been using it for over a month now and I must say the battery lasts quite long. Atleast 4.5 to 5 hours on continuous use. Love that it's got the touch screen feature. The only problem I've faced, like a few of the product reviews I've read, is that the mouse gets stuck sometimes. But not for too long.So far I think it's a really good purchase.
