It did not work the day I recieved it ,on checking ,I realised It is an used hard disc manufactured in 2013 and hence there can be no warranty also, the barcode sticker and hologram in the back of the hard-disk is tampered..... Unfortunately I'm unable to ask for a refund but only for a replacement although I'm a prime member.Hoping to receive a new working hard-disk

From d day 1 this hard drive does not work 4 me. It says "S.M.A.R.T status bad backup and replace". I shown it to many experts, bt they say u return it. Because of some personal reason, I couldn't return it back to AMAZON. Bt I thought I can go 2 d service center. Prior to that I checked its warranty status. surprised 2 c that its an OEM Product (it was nowhere mentioned on the product page),hence doesn't cover warranty. Even on the hard disk itself the date of manufacturing has been masked with a marker. I had enclosed picture of the same for reference.Shame on you guys that you are looting the customers. providing defective product. For amazon service was good, but with deep regrets, you are not evaluating your sellers properly....!!!!

This is not product review it is more about seller. If any body is thinking to buy this particular model please do not place order by seeing the picture & model. I had made this mistake. I have ordered this since I was in need of this WD5000AVDS model on 25th June'14 from VSERVEONLINE the item was delivered on 30th June'14 and I have surprised to see the package which brought by Ekart person the HDD was just wrapped in air bubble sheet and there was no box. After opening the parcel I saw that there was different model inside WD5000AZRX and that too in damaged condition at one corner. Disappointed due to this and returned the product to seller and asked for refund. Flipkart returned my money within week without any hassle I would thanks for FK for this but FK should not sell the product from this type of seller who does not keep their promises about specification of the item & poor packing. Because of this I wasted my one week.
