To correct some misconceptions.. yes there are 2 usb connectors in the drive , but you only need to connect one usb cable.. the other is NEVER used.
The drive is simply beautiful.. rugged .. great color combo .. and sets itself apart from other external drives that are a dime a dozen.
Speeds are great although not the best but superb for the package they deliver in.( Note the drive is 5400 rpm.. not 7200 rpm)
Shock proofing is great and i actually bounced it around a bit :P
Go for it , the product is worth the price! Totally VFM

Ordered the drive on the evening of Aug 17th, and Flipkart delivered the same to my office on August 19th. Truly they keep their word.
Now about the experience with the drive. I had ordered it after lots of internet search and going through lots of reviews and comparisons. The drive came in superb Transcend packaging made more secure by Flipkart (forgot to mention. they delivered the drive perfectly secure while it was raining outside!). The actual feel of the drive is better than as it looks in the picture. Gives rock solid impressions...Below is the summary of overall experience with the drive
Pros:
1. Solid feel of the drive
2. Completely scratch resistant body
3. USB 3.0
4. Great sense of satisfaction when ordered from Flipkart
Cons:
1. Proprietary port on the drive. Always need to carry the special cable supplied alongwith :(
No After Sales Service.

I bought this HDD and suddenly after one year it stopped working. I had registered this product with Transcend for warranty and is currently in warranty but the service center are not giving the replacement stating that company has stopped the service.
I guess you should stay away from the product because you would face hard time if something goes wrong with the HDD.
Not as advertised- 2 USB ports, Software on Mac

Do keep in mind that this comes with 2 USB connectors both of which need to be plugged in to power the device. Was a deal breaker for me as I have only 2 ports!
All advertised value-add features such as software, one-click backup DON'T work on Macs.
