1). Speed is slower for a 3.0 USB, I got above 80MBps for single file, and ~50MBps for Multiple file transfer.

Good but sometimes won't perform

I have been using this for 3 year approx and haven't faced much issues, but my product just wont go any faster than 60 Mbps for a USB 3.1 it should top at around 200 Mbps, there nothing wrong with my PC if thats what you think. but its been 3 year and since my HDD is already full i am getting a new one. If your considering this one for buying then, well it would satisfy but performance wise its not what is has been stated, but still gets the job done.
Not happy with the performance

Enough space to backup all my data but when I try to play a video inside this drive the video keeps getting stuck. I have a brand new laptop with latest drivers. Checked everything with my laptop but nothing's wrong with it, so it's gotta be the drive. The writing speed is good but the reading speed is definitely NOT good. May this is happening because I'm using USB 3 drive on a USB 2 port. Well, my suggestion would be, do your homework before buying it.

They are claiming us military drop test shock proof...that is absurd....accidently my product has fallen from my hand,not from too high...after that some clicking and beeping sound heard and it is not reading.since the product has got three years of warranty,I thought its better to replace he product or repair....but the real tragedy is that service centres are there only in metro cities.poor service centres are there for transcend in india...and otherwise not at all...buy it at your own risk.....performance wise product is better and good transfer speed on usb 3.0 at 60 mb/sec.fortunately my friend repaired my hard disk through tedious effort.even though it ruined the warrenty of my product,I had no choice left due to poor customer service in india....
Transcends worst product

Worst experience with this product. Bought this product about a month ago. Suddenly it stopped working. During data transfers, it stops automatically. Transcend doesn't have their own service centre in Mumbai. Kaizen info at Lamington Road deals with transcend service centre in Mumbai. They have no other option but to send the product to the company for replacement or repairs, which takes 3 months (as told by service advisor at Kaizen info).

they said that they have products pending for replacement for past 2 years.
whereas other manufacturers used to replace within a month.

When called they asked to use third party sotware and try. This is just a Piece of glorious colorful sh i t. If you want to lose all your TB data shortly, I strongly recommend buying this.
