PROs:
1. Sweet sleek design with mat finish.
2. Good speed, I got upto 25 MBps write speed in USB 2.0, and 95 MBps in USB 3.0.
3. Although prices are not like it was 9 months ago, still it is a good bargain at 5700/- rather than going for other drives at 6000+ bucks.
4. Nice bundled backup software, that can take backup of your online content also.
5. Flexible design for connecting various adapters. If you want to use other connectivity like eSATA, Thunderbolt etc. just buy the adapter with the cable.
6. The older SeaGate GoFlex adapters is also fully compatible with it.
CONs:
1. USB cable is very short.
2. Drive activity indicator is not very noticeable. It only changes light intensity. But most people are familiar with the changing blinking rate of the LED. But it's a personal choice of course.
3. Not military grade drop tested like the IoMega eGo and Transcend StoreJet. But no issues as it is also your personal choice and pricing difference.

Great for a while but defective later

So for the first 6 months, the hard drive worked like a dream but then all of a sudden it stopped working.
The activity light kept blinking and no computer could detect the device. Furthermore, I discovered that the serial number on the device did not match the serial number on the detect device window on my computer.
My data is gone and I am not sure if I'll get a replacement. Also, the service center in Mumbai is difficult to find. So the next time, invest a little more time and buy electronics directly from a store instead of online.
DIED with in 45 Days

The Hard drive was delivered well in time ... all was going vanilla and one day ... the drive died ... not when i plug it in ... light flashes and shows nothing in my computer ... i plugged it in multiple laptops ... NOTHING . . . light flashes for a min... and the dat dies too .... flipkart says ... they cant help as its past 30 days already and they asked me to contact Segate itself.... ill update my review after segate's response....

Got it delivered in 4 Working days, in the best packing possible practically. Right from the moment I have opened the box, I became fan of Seagate. It is even smaller than half of the 500 GB HD Drives. Space provided is 930 GB and USB 3.0 gives transfer speeds upto 80 MBPS, blazing fast data transfer, amazing looks, compact and portable size makes it the best pick of all the available HD Drives. Flipkart has the most attractive pricing, have done quite some research in this area and found FK to be most reasonable. Overall the best HDD to buy in the 1TB Segment.

Compact size and small compare to other HDD manufacture for 4TB storage. Already having Transcent 2TB and it is bigger (possibly for 3 layer shock protection). Before I placed order of this product, I feel it could be bulky one, but it is not. It fits in shirt pocket. I purchased silver color, the pattern is good compare with other color varients available.Good read and write speed. I got approx 102+mbps read and 80+mbps write speed in my AMD processor based laptop.About Amazon.in delivery - no need to tell about their delivery. It is great as they do always. I received the product within 3 days (Haryana to Chennai).This is my review about 5 days usage. I will update my review after few months usage.

Hi guys this hdd has ntfs and exfat and does not have far32 file system, so if you are planning to connect this to your tv or home theater or your car it'll not work. Transfer speed is good in usb 3.0 ports.

This is the only 4TB portable external hard disk drive currently available in the market. This is such a useful thing to carry all your data while travelling. You need not worry about finding a power source for this HDD as it gets powered by the USB of your desktop/laptop computer. The only problem is as it is RAID0, if you lose data, you will lose entire data.
